This game embodies one of the single worst reasons why I hate sports games:
Auto-switching to the player with the ball. If I'm up field and running down to intercept, but an NPC gets the ball, now I'm RUNNING THE WRONG WAY.
I'm sorry, but this game irritates me on the story level. Jack's second dialog statement is "no more chatting" and the dialog goes on for another 5 minutes.
I'm afraid of skipping the dialog due to missing something important, but on the other hand, I really really don't want to read it.
regen needs to occur at a slow rate outside of combat to make the talent worth it. Every 10 or 20 squares seems appropriate, as you get 1 hp back per AP and 1 AP is 1 square of movement inside combat--talents and items not withstanding.
There's an odd situation where using the WASD keys to move around outside of combat doesn't auto-recenter the screen. I think it has to do with using the arrow keys to pan the view area during combat.
Also, there needs to be a way to approach large structures (spider hives in particular) from above without having to spend 4+ movement to end up close, but all the way on the other side of it.
-1 AP cost is crazy! I have a 3 AP cost weapon doing 6-9 damage at 65% or better at point blank. That's 5 attacks a turn! Picking that perk up again turns me into a machine gun at 10 attacks a turn, of which about 6 hit, doing 36-54 damage!
Inventory is crap. Click the eye drops, then the pills, then the syringe. Or was it the pills, the dops, then the syringe?
Also, you need to cut open the teddy bear. And I never did figure out how to light the candle.
Anyway, for those of you would would like to get the door unlocked the code is based on the piece of paper. The first number is in the GREEN ROOM, the second in the BLUE ROOM, etc.
Also, there's a flashlight in the bookcase, in the drawer.
More magnets do attract coins better. At 4 fully upgraded magnets I can catch every single one (unless the enemy dies too low (about my level or lower)).
I still think that you should grab a ladder when jumping, it's really quite difficult to do. I suspect I'd have trouble even if there weren't ghosts flying around trying to kill me.
