Balance on this is way way way off. The point at which I had to fight off more guys than I could kill in the time it took them to reach the tower (and I should note before I had enough money to buy a FCKING TURRET) was the point I started questioning the game designer's sanity.
When the catapults came I knew he was off his rocker. No fcking way I should have to deal with two of those (who can hit the heart section with near-perfect accuracy) with a level 2 or level 3 sword.
What's with the complete inability to jump up a curb? My feet keep going left and I faceplant into the ground. There is simply no way to play this game.
Give more warning to where enemies are going to spawn, as is there's barely enough time to register the spawn before it happens, much less react to it.
The invulnerable triangle enemies are harder to beat in your version than in the actual Geometry Wars game: they turn too fast.
The things that allow you to make corners is a neat justification, if very limiting, I like.
The bubble that appears around an alien will prevent you from clicking the neighboring alien if you click the edge of the bubble. This is frustrating.
Many aliens look nearly identical, and the only difference between them is that one is holding a clump of grass, makes it very difficult to find matches quickly.
I had to go to the walkthrough for the stethoscope. Not nearly enough time between "loads" to adequately test solutions. Even with the walkthrough it took me many tries.
Oh gawd. Too much knowledge!
Likely a decent game that teaches you medical things, but I thought it was weird (and kinda hilarious) that just being told the heart is a pump was enough to treat Heart Attack victims.
Rygel: Sure, I'm running on 4 year old hardware and just had some ram get corrupted (256 MB chip had to be removed, still have a 512 in there). Doesn't mean that the creator couldn't have added in some options to reduce the hit to my system.
Had a problem with Mission 5 (at least the one I get to if that's what I ask for) in that I started at 1 on Hard and when I got to number 5 I lost, lost again, lost again and....the screen kept doing the transition to black, back to the map, black, back to the map...over and over and over. Couldn't stop it.
I should also note that that level is nearly impossible on Hard. Having played through it a dozen or so times now the farthest I've gotten is 34 seconds into the first night of "survive three nights." First order (night 0): 3 flame turrets. Day: mine, windmills, geotherm, 2 farms, tons of floodlight and gun turrets. Ran out of oil/gas during the day, so all I had was ~160 energy and 30 metal going into Night 1.
Game lags my machine like freaking crazy. Could play the original just fine.
