Good one. Though I have to say it left me wanting a little something else after it ended. Perhaps a little platformer or something. The drawing style and the snail's expressions...I dunno, I think a bigger, faster-paced game featuring this guy could be a hit!
Morodr, it's not a question of being a good player. If we're rating games based on how fun they are and this one isn't as fun as it could be because it's so hard, why is that a problem?
3/5. It's not a bad game but it just seems to lack personality, if you get my meaning. I also don't care for the lack of upgrades on the guard and cannon towers. And the cost of upgrading the fire/ice/lightning towers. And the lack of info on the upgraded tower keeps you from making an informed decision about whether to do it or not. Is it better to spend $1500 upgrading a tower or spend that money on another guild and a couple more towers?
Hardly touch? I had enough room for two pointers between my pointer and the shape and my game ended! 1/5 for me. Fix the collision detection and it gets a 2; improve graphics and whatnot and it might go up to 3. But it's not going to get any higher than that without some majorly innovative element.
How about maintaining your score and not immediately resetting when your game ends? And it wouldn't hurt to have a little better instructions, i.e. explaining the actual goal of the game.
I love this game, but it's way too random. I mean, first I get my arse handed to me by a couple dozen tanks , ballistas and dragons (one flying) during the first 45 seconds of the level. Then the next time I try that same level I only face one tank, two ballistas, and three or four dragons. Apart from that it was just a swarm of rats and sheep that were easily mowed down. I mean it was the same level but I got shellacked the first time yet finished the second attempt with perfect health. Also I'm at day 126 one one game and still getting weapons as low as lvl 8, while I'm on day 42 on a different game and can't get a weapon under level 15.
