I like this game. My comments are: a) Have an upgrade system, where you use your gems to upgrade firepower, buy rockets, boost health, heal, get speed, and maybe upgrade your rocket's power.--------b) Losing so much firepower when you get hit makes the game too discouraging. I go from 10 to 8 on a few starfish hits and now my firepower has gone to crap. Things spiral downwards WAY before you ever get close to actually dying.
Quickstart strategy: First, get a rat as soon as possible. Hold down Space when on the ground. Massively increases distance. Then boost nothing but FOOD until you are close to maxed.---------Next, get a pterodactl level 2. From now on, you can aim at max height, shoot and hold down Space. Get tons of distance, achievements and other stuff. Once you get Ptero level 3, it gets pretty crazy. THEN you can boost the other stuff which honestly doesn't seem to do much.
So here is the key to winning:---Round 1: Go for 45 degree angle, max power for 90 meters. ----Round 2: Buy 1 Engine. Shoot for 35-45degrees max power. click the Engine gui button when you are right at max height. ----Round 3 Buy a Creativity upgrade!!!!!!111. Use leftover money to buy an engine. Same deal, except you get +250m for free! Round 4--- buy second creativity and 3 engine, 3 bouncer, 3 freaky as you can afford it.-------Round 5, buy everything. Round 6, definitely buy everything----------In later rounds, go for 30 degree angle, max power, use up all 3 engines when your height is maxed. Then use 1 bouncer on the way down, then a freaky, then bouncer, freaky, bouncer, freaky. This will get you the best distance possible. More distance = more money for the next round, so buying stuff to boost your score is worthwhile. I won with 2900 points or so. Not amazing, but I won!
Ok, slops to all you idiots that think this is a rip of Motherlode. The drill and mining for minerals is the ONLY relation.-----For those that cant reach 2600, right before you hit 2500, click the TURBO booster. Pressure overload only triggers after it ends, where you will easily get 2600. ------ Those who got the 300k+, tell us what upgrade path you used. I think early Mole is a loser because it is way slow until upgraded quite a bit. Probably better to boost Fuel, Radar, hull, etc. Steering seems to be the least priority upgrade after youve bumped it a few notches.
It is a tough game. Level 10 was the hardest part for me. The key was to NOT use the auto-aim crap. Equipping the powerful Minelayer was the way to go. It actually shoots really slow but hard hitting 'bullet's across the screen, so not really a minelayer per se. Really strong vs the gun turrets that you have to fight.------ A beam weapon is your second best against static defenses too. Since you get an energy boost when you are hit (chain break), its fast energy depletion is much less of a disadvantage than normal. Beams are tons better than gatling guns because of this reason. Missiles are great for 'farming' and vs the super fast guys, but awful against turrets.
dsadsadsa, really? You seriously downrate a casual flash game because it doesn't support some kind of esoteric touchpad interface on the PC? You're a scrub.---------------- FYI, If you play it on their site, and have a disposable facebook, you can play a 6-differences type of puzzle game and get a really nice weapon. It is a fast shooting gun that never runs out of energy.
tsjak, RTFM. The dragon does not attack until he has grown. You might note the 0 attack, 0 fire breath in the Inventory screen? That is an indicator. Once you have his max health to around 50ish he gets a really weak breath attack. His next growth is pretty significant though.-----------Lureahawk, dunno what skills you picked, but you messed up. I took 1 Frost, 1 Cast increase, 1 regen, the rest went into Orb and then I maxed out Nova next. Your attack skills increase exponentially as you put points in. Level 1 Orb = crap. Level 10 = pure pwnage.------------The best levels to 'Camp' are NOT the boss ones! The Mass Slime level is fantastic for looting item drops. Your mage with Orb will kill em all for you. Second Tier, the big giants are great to camp. Massive XP and they drop high value stuff. Between those 2 levels you can max out your equipment easily.
FYI, you have to get to level 2 before your girl can attack. Take Magic Orb OR Nova, which are attack skills. Your dragon doesn't do much of ANYTHING until he gets pretty big. 60ish life or so before he gets a lame attack. At 120ish life he gets more butch... then at I think 250ish he is much stronger.
Alright, Smithing is really pissing me off. Since I have made the foolish mistake of upgrading my smith, I have to pay 500 gold (even though its maxed out) and a crapload of Stress for about a 30% chance of getting a 50% chance of making an item. Then of course, it makes a stupid BOOK instead of a weapon. This is BS! Make a friggin 'make item' standalone option and slightly increase the item-making price or something.
Bottom Line: You need to be able to Rest at high efficiency. To do so, CON-boosts help, as well as building the Village garden.---- ALSO, Low tier jobs SUCK BAD! You need better jobs that boost CON or STR with useful skills. Babysitting and Sweeping both blow. Therefore, you want to skip all that crap and go dungeoning. BUT, after the initial dungeon, you will get Bent Over. Hence it is important to build the village to open up some easy interum dungeons.
So, your first move is to build the Village Garden to level 2. Then, buy some equipment for your dude and send him into the first noob dungeon. With the materials and equipment gained, build a Graveyard. That gives you another dungeon to explore that is easy. You can then keep building the village for more and more easy dungeons while getting more Building material, going to school, and equipping yourself.
Miniguide: Take CON boosts for most of the starting choices, except for the STR-boosts that give you +combat attack and/or defense. Take the +1000 gold and rusty sword choice, +200 building materials choice, and combat attack boosters. The idea is that RESTING is key in this game. A 0.8 ratio sucks bad. You MUST be able to rest more efficiently ASAP. High CON boosts rest as well as HPs. Starting with some building material is key to build up your village.
Ok, PLEASE make a mute button for the music! NOt turn it way down. Turn it OFFFFFFF. The rest of you guys really need to learn 2 play. Read this: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/74225-my-pet-protector-2-infos?page=3#posts-1680779 Finally, any Pro Tips for beating Satan? Other than using 50 million potions? Pots barely even break even.
Alright man, you GOT to make better ways to get Enchanting. The percentage of success is ridiculously low, and the only way to boost it is as a Librarian. WTF? There needs to be a School or another job or two that boosts Enchanting.
