I agree with AlphaPT, let's disregard the inaccuracies in the science. Let's not disregard the inaccuracies in your math though Arkshija. I read your equation for the City Rating bonus and entered it in exactly two separate times in a Scientific Calculator. It came up wrong, both times. The only way I was able to get it to come up right was by entering in the wrong numbers. You have Research Tools being read as the level it's at, NOT as the percentage it gives you. So, instead of having +10%, you have +9%. While this is accurate to the bonus RT gives you, it's not accurate based on the math you're presenting there. Technically, I should be at 10% because RT + 1 = 10 (and for clarity's sake, RT at level 8 gives you +9% to your total City Rating bonus.) It should be going off the actual percentage it gives, NOT the level it's at. If that's how you intended it, just remove the +1 and make it the percentage bonus it gives, not the level it's at.
Okay, critiquing the game. Not much of a game, the only thing that offers literally any variety are the different tracks. There's nothing explaining anything beyond "This is a one button game." No information about the different vehicles to race in, nothing. If it's purely cosmetic, that's fine but I do feel we should be informed of this. This game is a straight up cash grab because some people are actually willing to waste their money on games like these. This isn't a game, find something better to do with your time. Read a book, exercise, almost ANYTHING would be a more constructive use of your time. Remember folks, you've only got one go around this planet.
Hmm..I see something I think you could add, Revelbase. Clicking on a window lets you produce faster, but if you move at all you move the window. Those of us that don't like that are going to be irritated by it (it doesn't bother me too much, but it is a little irritating.) All you'd have to do is create a Lock command in the Options menu to lock the position of all herb/potion windows. I'm not sure how easy or feasible this is, just something I can see as an option some people might like.
When you have a "perk" that can completely screw the player over (Multishot which eats double stamina for a POSSIBLE, but not likely, 50% increase in damage,) you really need to make sure the player KNOWS what they are. This basically ruins your first playthrough if you don't know what the perks are. This is a crippling developer error that you need to fix. Until fixed, I'm only giving this two stars.
Math lesson! If the bonuses are multiplicative, as opposed to additive, perhaps you can explain how 127k becomes 135k? By my calculations it should be 222.25k. 127 x .75 gives you what the 75% bonus for Shout 2 should be (which is 95.25k.) Add the two numbers, 222.25k. Tellas already complained about this, s/he's completely right, these bonuses are not multiplicative. You need to work on your math, either that or change the part where it says they're multiplicative because they clearly aren't. By the way, this kinda makes those special upgrades which cost a fortune useless. I will buy them as a last resort to keep climbing the level-up ladder, since leveling is far more powerful for GPS or GPC upgrading.
Am I the only one who realizes the author of this game clearly doesn't understand animals one bit? I don't care how many crows are feasting on a dead body, they will fly away if something the size of an adult human walks up to them. They're scavengers, not predators.
Monster comes charging at me, "DIE!" falls down into the trap. "Huh, must've meant himself.." Also, you should probably listen to Maharid, very good points there especially 1. You want to make it easy to continue on, by making players use the mouse you break the flow of the game. Once that's done, if they're getting frustrated they're more likely to quit. Just some advice from a gamer.
I've noticed the ridiculous profits from offline gains as well Who. My problem though, is the explanation of "You will get your blessed diamonds returned on soft reset." And it doesn't happen. spent 2.5 million gems on Artifacts (still in the early game stages,) and offered my temples and what-not, only to find I didn't regain any of the blessed diamonds I had spent. Not a single one of them, either spent on upgrades or artifacts. I'm not that upset by this, but I do think if a programmer says something should work a specific way that it SHOULD actually work that way. (I don't know any other games where you spend your rare reset currency and regain it off of a soft reset.)
After seeing something like..Oh, I don't know..Hakunamatata? I wanted to not only slap, but perhaps even punch the designer. You don't make a typing game with mad up crap. Yes, I can deal with names, fine. But that's just ridiculous, and the gamer in me is more than a little offended by the designers' lack of originality. This type of game has been seen (and done better,) before. Maybe put a little more effort into it? Give it a twist, SOMETHING to set it apart. Here's hoping you pull something out of your hat.
Aaaaand land hasn't been fixed yet. The ONLY investment for land that's worth anything at all is the Dyson Sphere. And as of right now it's price is still somewhere in the "stupid" to "retarded" range. I have over 61k truth, I should be able to afford this. Yet, I see the price is still "500od qc", this really should be fixed. Those of us wishing to alleviate some of the new found (and apparently crippling) effects of the land issue will need this more accessible to lower incomes, since not all of us have multipliers in the billions.
Thoughts and Comments part 2: I'm tempted to even ask "What game?" but I feel that would be just plain mean. You have the basis for what could be a solid 3 star game (You'll never get a high scoring game without some ingenuity and this game has absolutely none right now.) You've got your work cut out for you, with a little spit and polish, and a few new ideas all your own, you could do well with this. Keep working at it, and for pete's sake apply a little common sense to your creation process. Then you won't have to deal with smartaleck know-it-alls like me anymore.
Thoughts and Comments part 1: Ok, simple, yes. Addictive and fun? Uh, not really. Sorry, but there's just not enough here to hook people. Infact, there's barely enough here to call this a game. LjD1 is right that the math is beyond screwed. However, he's wrong about that last price. Base costs 1,000,000 not 100,000. That brings up ANOTHER issue I have with this game, where did your commas go? Did the Comma Goblin come and take them from you? Then we have the font size. I'm sorry but I don't understand why any developer's under the impression that people should have to use a magnifying glass to read the text in their games. There's another reason it doesn't make any sense. Are you trying to conserve space? For what? All the CrAzY content your game has? What content?
Removed that 1 to be more clear ty!
