I'm rating this down a star or two because of the variable sensitivity of the bad guys. On some runs, they wait several seconds before shooting at you (once they have visibility). On others, they fire instantaneously, which makes it impossible to rescue some civilians when there is a bad guy facing in BOTH directions.
First boss is absolutely ridiculous. While corrupting one or two of your functions is an okay idea, all at once, and essentially robbing you of ANY ability to shoot back, is just ridiculous. What little xp you do gain during that fight is all spent on repairs. POORLY DONE. 2/5. You get one extra point just for having a game that seems to do what you wanted it to do. Just not well thought out.
Great game, but I took a star off the rating for having the only way to get under 300m be to play on bored.com. Also, a fish magnet would be a nice upgrade.
Needs an upgrade system the player has control over. Also, the levels are NOT balanced. Level 1 of the Evil Clowns is far more difficult the Level 1 of the Terrorists. If the player had control over his own upgrades, this might rectify the situation.
Okay. Why did the cop come after me for speeding WHEN I WAS SITTING STILL!!!! That, and the cops at least right away seem impossible to escape. They're faster and more maneuvarable than you.
Just for the fact that the AI is omniscient, knows exactly where ALL your units and buildings are with no scouting, and seems to have unlimited resources from the get go, the game gets 1/5.
BAD controls. If a monster attacks first, and gets so your figure is covering theirs, the monster is impossible to target without you first moving around to uncover the monster's figure.
Inadequate controls. Too difficult to get one profession to stop working. It seems that when you issue commands for one profession, it changes that same command for ALL the professions. So, there's really no difference.
