This is an ideal sequel. Maybe the best yet. Great elaborations on themes. The only "problem" could be that I began typing this comment as I was watching a force [arrow?] block roll against the side of a platform, but the inertial dampeners somehow caused it to gain enough momentum to fly away [haha!]. 5+♥. When are Drop Dead fans going to see a sequel?! Yes, we still exist! Thanks ttursas!
Fun, but pathetically easy. I'd have liked to see accuracy mattering, more enemy traps, strategy... But on the positive side; "you forget your tank" → lmao.
That was fun, it's getting a 5+fave, but what happened?! Where are the Arch-Mages and metal dragons? I still had a dozen large healing potions when I finished, and none of the elemental stuff did much at all. I wish this game had been as cruel as the Ancient Cave, but I loved it anyway.
Yay. Jump on the poo, jump through the poo, fall through the poo, fall through the checkpoint... A half-dozen surprises and almost as many laughs. Needs music. Something excremental.
This game is really awesome until the game starts. It needs quite a bit of un-cheesing, however. As for the gameplay, uh... Holy crap. Wait, positive point: graphics.
I was just thinking about how much I'd love to play some Flash Castlevania, or Castlevania-inspired-work or a direct Castlevania rip. I hope I can soon.
I hate optical mice. I despise the odious things. You have to go to a ****in' antique store to get a mouse with a BALL in it. Wait, what were we talking about?
Dammit man, if you're gonna give them 500% health, it would be nice to slow their reactions a little to allow for some strategy. Level 14 = No. Otherwise I was loving it, especially for running smooth.
Okay damnit, lol, I opened my mouth and got into this, so here's something ACTUALLY constructive, as a humble suggestion: consider appending to the description that mousing off-screen can be avoided by using that handy spacebar shrinking feature.
The only mouse issue I've seen is apparent now that I've made try #5 at level 20 with a four-beam gun-thing. Keeping the mouse on screen while dodging that thing, uh... But I've heard that's not an easy [or did I hear impossible?] thing to program around... I LIKE your games, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining. Or trying. Difficult is good, I'm glad this isn't as easy as that other recent [*ahem*] shooter game. I respect games that take effort and the right state of mind, but this is like playing Halo 2 on mythic with my feet. I'd five it if I could ever get my hands on some of the other half of the game... I probably will anyway.
I'm fine with the controls, they take practice. [But Amorphous+ will train a person pretty well.] This game is just HARD. Hard like The Unfair Platformer. Hard like it makes the previous RetroShoot game look easy. Hard like, "What are those little yellow squares supposed to do?" Hard like, come on, this is honestly a little too unforgiving. :P
What's wrong with the controls? Naturally the guy can't jump ten times his height even with magic shoes when he's suffocating. This still needs a Kong scoreboard!
Horror P&C? Yay. Darkness, Exmortis and Vorago aren't enough. [Serious. ♥.] After playing: uhh... My brain lunges at the shortest path, so I was confused since I couldn't find any problems here that a swift shoe or hammer couldn't fix. Good art and effects.
I think I'm on wave 24. The quality is down and my desktop display size is minimized, and I still can't hit anything. Actually, I can barely type this. But, I had a bit of fun. It reminds me of Quadrobarrel Defense. Good luck fixing this thing... It looks like a case of awesomeness overload. :P
