Frenetic gameplay, not much thinking required. The graphics aren't that good, which would seem to be a big deal with a game like this. I did not enjoy it very much.
Decent platformer, with plenty of extra lives to be found and continue system. I did not like losing a life every time I got touched, give me some hit points or something and leave the instant kills to when I fall in the spiked pits. In the underwater stage, the fish would just dart at me from offscreen while I was in a narrow tunnel with no way to avoid them, what's the deal with that? I'll admit I didn't play the game all the way through, but it would have been cool to introduce some sort of upgrade system with the eggs like in Dino Run.
Platformer with some issues... stamina and shield are pointless. The ranged enemy attacks as soon as he appears on screen and you have no time to react. Money becomes pointless early on in the game because all the stores in the game only sell the same 3 items. Combat becomes pointless as soon as you upgrade to the second weapon. There are few differences in the enemies and the game is very short. The last level was the only one I was remotely interested in.
Good update to the game but the AI is so bad it makes the battles random and pointless. I just took a pure fighter with lots of strength and vitality, sword and sword skill, with as much armour as I could afford. I thought I was doing well (17 wins in a row) and then I faced the second arena champion who suddenly and inexplicably appears to be impossible (44 damage on each hit, I have 71 hp wtf is that about). This makes me feel like there is a specific way you have to play in order to have a chance, but there was no warning what I was doing was wrong (95% win ratio!). It could be a good game but I think it still needs some tweaking.
I find the mouse movement and combat in this game to be jerky and random. There will be a line of enemies, you slash through them and all of them die but one one for no apparent reason. You have to mouse scroll at the side to see the board, so I'm always ending up out of range and getting hit by enemies offscreen. Conversely, it's almost impossible to get hit by anything you can actually see. Nice attempt at something a little different but I simply don't enjoy the gameplay.
This is a great strategy game, I'm really liking it so far. Some things that bug me: there is no 'pass turn' option and you can't move through your own men, so it's hard to get your men to where they need to be. If I'm in a battle, there is no way to just exit without dying (which can take time in a turn based game) or reloading the browser. If I reload the browser I lose my autosave file because it makes you start a new game in order to get at the save/load function for some reason.
This is a neat idea, but poorly executed. My main problem with it is the interface, its easy to lose work - you must complete the entire map in one sitting, which can take a long time if you want to actually balance your map, then upload it to the portal, where it will sit for a while before vanishing (except for those that make it to that top list?). The map does not save when you exit, and once it's gone from the portal that's it, you have to start all over from scratch. The end product is pretty basic, the map is tiny, it needs more options - like towers that only hit air, different resistances to elements - otherwise it's all just eye candy. This needs a lot more work before I'd even say it was out of beta.
The game is not in its native resolution and it's not really playable, in my opinion. So this is fail. One thing I really noticed was that the music is just awful.
Interesting concept, programming logic for a game. Not terribly fun but a different take on a puzzle game with nothing done wrong and nothing annoying, so I'd say the game is a great success.
Although the game has nice graphics and a lot of time obviously went into that, I just don't get the point of the game. Can you lose? It's just playing with a pretty picture! I went through the first 3 levels and then just gave up on it.
Good improvement in almost every respect over Achilles style game, but I just can't stand the combat. The survival and gladiator modes highlight the terrible achilles style fighting system, where you just walk forward pushing the attack button and see what happens. Seems like a good game, but the combat just kills it for me.
This is quite good sonic style platformer, well polished with some unlockables. I found the controls a bit difficult, and thee were some points where I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, but the difficulty was well set overall.
