I like this sort of strategy game. I couldn't get very far due to bugs but from what I saw, there isn't much variation in the heroes, which was disappointing- Why not give the thief some kind of backstab, or the ability to move horizontally. Have some characters get regen or better counters or specials like they survive death once with 1 hp or something. Items, levels up, etc? Maybe those come later. When/if the bugs get fixed I'll check it out.
I like the idea of this game but when a zombie gets close he just eats you to death and you cant kill him, I guess you gotta keep moving but damn I cant get any of the cool toys.
I liked the game, the environments are interesting and I've never played one with a control scheme like this. I'm really not very good at the game, it's one of those ones where you have to really practice to get good at, which is fine, but it makes it somewhat less accessible. The whole idea of scaring the dude with the ghost is awesome. I liked it overall but we'll see if I feel compelled to come back and learn it.
I really liked the game, though i was able to beat it on my first try. I placed a stun tower in that dip just outside the enemy base and surrounded it with 3 vine towers for damage. You need at least 2 anti air towers up as well before level 24. I ignored the right hand upgrades and focused on tower and hero damage upgrades, keeping them on par with a couple stuns thrown in. All towers should be maxed out. I ended up with 1 life left on the final level (due to getting air swarmed levels 24-26 and not having 2 air towers) and got an achievement for it, which I thought was cool. Great game!
I really liked the game, especially how you can twist the passageway. The jumping seemed a little off like it was difficult to be precise. I disliked the traffic signal, I feel it interrupts the flow of the game, the breaks between levels should be shorter and take out the traffic signal.
There is barely any strategy, the game is too simple and I disliked the morale system. The randomness of some of the attacks was irritating. You should be able to reassign skill points.
I'm supposed to upgrade my character, and there are a wide variety of skills to choose from. If I pick the wrong skills, I have no chance at all and I only get 3 skill resets for the entire game? Terrible design, wouldn't even consider playing the game based on that alone. You might as well just code a giant middle finger for the player when the resets are up.
The controls for this game are laughably bad, I wouldn't consider spending five minutes wrestling with them. Maybe it's because I wasnt using an xbox 360 controller, but I would never consider playing a flash game with a controller. As far as I'm concerned the controls should be geared towards mouse and keyboard, NOT an xbox 360 controller which 95% of your audience is not going to have or bother with on a flash game.
Take an annoying, undwieldly contraption with 4 shots of ammo and fly it through 20 levels of spikes, enemies and buckshot. Does this sound like a proposition for fun? The game is annoying and easy at the same time (congrats on that combo?) until you reach level 18, where you have to squeeze through a tiny opening with water at the bottom, and the moment you go in the water you lose. I must have tried getting through that opening 20 times before giving up in digust. Assuming it's even possible this is game-destroyingly terrible level design! To the dev: Play-test the game! If this is intentional, what the hell is wrong with you?
