Did not have such a great time with this. There was a lot of frantic, random flailing involved and challenge mode was getting on my nerves: Whenever I locked up with someone I couldn't tell what was going on and often ended up moving through him and punching air, then you have to stop attacking in order to turn around. Sometimes couldn't land a hit, sometimes I'd win in a few punches without knowing what I'd done that was so awesome. Running around while trying to avoid being flanked wasn't much fun. Just my impression from playing challenge mode, but it didn't inspire me to want to play the other parts of the game.
In my view, this game sadly doesn't work because for the first 4 campaigns you can use basically anything to win, (i used a machine gun ONLY to beat the first 4 campaigns) while in the last 2 you must use specific guns in specific places with specific upgrades in order to win. Many of the guns are too annoying to even contemplate using (anything that isn't auto fire). The exact same issues that plagued all the other versions of stormwinds are present here and no attempt has been made to fix them, which makes me think the developer doesn't think there are any issues. Good potential, but needs significant tweaking to make the game any fun IMO.
Not a bad idea but I could have gone on forever without losing a single life. The bubbles need to speed up or something. Also, I was promised bikini girls! Very disappointed.
Not bad, but it gets annoying quick because you never know when you're going to attract an unwanted cell - the attraction radius should be visible. As you progress levels this becomes more and more of an issue. On all the levels I played, you had to get ALL the cells to the exit, so there's no margin for error either. Otherwise quite well done.
Pretty good, though it's too easy and unfocused. You can just ignore everything and focus on collecting coins until you have your car maxed out and then play for the achievements. I think the game would be better if you got less or no money if you don't place first or top 3.
It's not bad as a (very) simple beat em up. You're in a room fighting bad guys with an attack, a jump, and sometimes a couple bombs. Enemies attack up close, some have ranged, and there is a boss for each wave. Sometimes you get health powerups. To me, this is boring because there isn't anything here that draws me in to want to keep playing, or anything that differentiates this from any other beat em up you might have played. (Its just bland by comparison.) Some of the characters are named after developers? Whatever. I'm not into the meta-game thing; I don't find it creative or funny or interesting. Bottom line, it doesn't suck and if you've never played a beat em up before, this would be a good start. Otherwise you'll probably play it once and move on like I did.
My initial reaction to this game was very positive, but after spending some time with it, you will find that a) 90% of the matches can be won by using 1 attack at the right speed, interrupting enemy, b) Satan is annoyingly overpowered and c) many of the moves are too hard to execute, but you mostly wont need them - see a) above. An interesting concept, but I think undone by poor gameplay mechanics.
Did not enjoy this one. Each screen has an exact method you must use to get past it and you just keep doing it over and over until you figure out what jump / shoot pattern you need to do in order to get past it, then its on to the next screen where you do the same thing. Nothing else about the game is particularly good, so it falls flat for me.
I like the presentation of the game, but it's so slow paced and repetitive the appeal quickly wears off. I'd reconsider the spawn rate, introduce some sort of upgrade system, and perhaps bosses or checkpoints to go for while running around.
