I did not like this as a standalone game or as a sequel to Epic War, for several reasons. The gameplay can best be described as long and dull. While I really do appreciate the intent and work that went into crafting a real story, the developer is obviously not a wordsmith; at least get someone who is good at English to proofread your text. Finally, I don't see how this improves on the previous game.
I liked the game; this is a good setting for a bomberman clone. The respawning enemies didn't bother me (it would if the tanks respawned) but it can get kind of frustrating only being able to place one explosive. On the other hand, placing multiple explosives might make the tank enemies too easy. There needs to be something else to do with experience than just unlocking guns. I'm already unlocking them by collecting the parts.
Good TD game, seems to strike the right balance between the types of towers and creeps to keep it engaging, plus the concept of the creeps stealing your ability to make towers right off the map is different.
Not a bad little run and gun, nice weapon upgrades and some replay value; I liked it. I cant seem to get past wave 10 or 11 in survival, so I assume you need the golden mech to get there, but I couldn't be bothered getting the golden mech. You shouldn't have to get all gold stars to unlock him, it's too much of a grind. Some extra content (levels, weapons, upgrades etc) would be welcome. My favorite thing to do in this game is blast enemy infantry with missiles and watch them go flying.
I like the idea of the floating castle and the air battles, but the game seems to need some tweaking: It all centers on getting the upper hand. Once you have the upper hand, you can't really lose unless you stop producing units. In the final level, you are given the upper hand at the start, which is strange, since it hands the whole level to you. This makes me think the developer doesn't see this facet of the game at all. Also, once you get the upper hand there isn't much to do but wait for the wave bar to clear out. Another thing is the mana regen rate; it increases every time you increase the size of your mana pool, but the rate of increase is ridiculous, making the game too easy. Finally, I did not use towers at all and the units don't have unique strengths so the best strategy is just to spam dragons - not too much fun.
The only thing I like about this game is the faction concept. There is no story to speak of in this RPG and the quests are similarly mindless. It's hard to write a good, deep RPG but games from this genre really do depend on it. The gameplay mechanics seem solid, but there isn't anything interesting about the game that makes me want to keep playing.
The game is pretty good but it suffers from being too easy and too unoriginal. It's been done to death. However, I liked how your weapons leveled up and you faced boss monsters, and then at the end it throws in a diablo style cow rampage to waste out your ammo.
My initial reaction to this game was that it was dull but made up for it with the suicide and multiple animals idea, and had poor controls but made up for it by making the game so easy it didn't matter. When I went to play again to get the badges, the poor controls really started to get to me. It feels like you're playing on ice covered with cake frosting. Even sitting still, I watched carefully and noticed that you slide from your position. All corners feel rounded and you die instantly if you move (or slide) near any object that can kill you. Still, its pretty well polished and not bad for a run through one time.
I like it, nice job updating the game. I had only a couple of small quibbles- you should be able to sell things, when I tried to do that it took away all my money. Also, it would be nice if there were a way to go back to the main menu while you are in battle.
Looks nice, I just had no idea you could grab the fishing rod and move it around, so I just got really frustrated before hitting the walkthrough, then when I realized how boring the puzzle is I had no interest in continuing. I find this a lot in these sorts of games - I get stuck because I have no idea I can (combine items, move screen items around, etc) and then I'm eminently unimpressed when I find out the problem is something so elementary. Something as simple as changing the mouse icon when you move it over something that is moveable as opposed to takeable would fix this.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what this is supposed to be. It just goes on and on with no point whatsoever like a TV where the channel keeps flipping. Another 'game' with no story, graphics, gameplay or anything that resembles an actual game that will be high rated because people think there is something profound here when there isn't and/or recognized some pop-culture reference or stupid internet meme and then hit the 5/5 button like a mindless lemming. I could go on.
Latches onto a fun genre but fails to do it very well. Graphics are pretty basic, upgrade system is simple and there isn't much challenge to speak of. Side note, I had to shut down my browser and it didn't record any of my progress.
Nice presentation but it's just too easy. I beat everything in 20 minutes. For challenges I used purple cards, with 1 castle, 3 wolves and some of those guys that remove an enemy card when played, and had no problems.
Good idea for a game, too bad there is only one challenging level. Needs more levels with more difficulty. I didn't like the advertising half-way through the game.
