Great game. Great pace of difficulty. Thought it got pretty hard in the 10's, but it was mainly because I just experimented my way through. I had to realize that I had to see several moves ahead and not just rely on my intuition to see obvious solutions like many other easier puzzle games. Once I got used to identifying paths it got a lot easier and a lot more fun. I also loved the way it slowly introduced you to new concepts. I want to give it 4/5, but I can't really say what the game is missing. It's a little short, but it would probably be too hard or too tedious if it was longer. I just didn't end up with the same feeling of joy I usually get from games I give 5/5. Since I can't point out anything I didn't like, and many things I liked, I'm gonna make an exception and assume that it's my own rating philosophy that needs to be changed. So have a 5/5. You earned it.
If you focus on upgrading speed when you're above level 7 or so with all traits, then you'll quickly start to destroy every town just by a single infection click. Full spread, wall and people penetration upgrade as well of course. I redid the towns in the first country until I could destroy them, and from that point it was mostly about placing tanks at agents after infections. By the third country, one infection started being enough almost all the time. If you're having trouble with a town, then keep a grenade with you in case your zombies won't get to the last guy. It shouldn't be a problem once your speed is high enough up though.
When I first completed this game 6 years ago, I was immediately intrigued because I could learn to identify all 100 shapes quite quickly. It was exciting to feel like you overcame your own ignorance and gained a new perception skill. A bit like learning to see geometry in real life. But since the scoreboards didn't show any indication of anyone else being able to do that, I felt special for a while. Then came a long struggle for getting my highscores banned and repeatedly asking for support to get them back. But even in spite of the broken highscore system (which we all know also have tons of hackers at the top), I really enjoy this concept of games teaching you abnormal skills. I don't think gaming should only act as a relief from our stressful and/or boring societies. It could (and should) also be engaging and enlightening. Still a 5/5 from me.
After 6 years, this is still one of my absolute favorite games on Kongregate. So many games these days are either quick games - which can be completed in a break or during a trip in public transport - or money-grabbing games that are unbalanced and stressful. It seems like we live in a time of disposable games where we constantly have to chase new games if we want to have fun. Dino Run, much like many older games, seem to prioritize gameplay and indulging yourself in an adventurous world. I really miss that aspect of games.

Starting tips: Don't buy brickouts. Star shooters are acceptable once $50m isn't much to you. Focus on mowers (jumpers as backup). For upgrades, berserk and animal freq. are not really worth it. Focus on Bonus, and keep Speed 1-4 levels lower. Importantly, mowers have "sweet spots", meaning you have to move your mouse slowly around trying to find one of the spots where the mower gives the max output. Once found, press escape twice. Get the garden asap, for a good passive income. Save up for the cracker seed (31m). It's a money multiplier for all boards. Ignore carrots and turnips unless you care about a very minor DPS increase. Try upgrading as many levels you can at a time to save you the cost of all the in-between levels. $77k (with 3x crackerplier) is the max DPS I've found. Don't go below 70k$. And the poop board is not worth it, but can be fair if you use it manually. Hope this helped.
*SPOILER* I don't understand what the point of the mystery seed is. It gives you +20% "prestige" (whatever that is) and just resets all your boards, except the shop acts like they're already bought (like the reset-data bug), so I have a DPS of 2, and I have 1 jumper left that costs 5 billion and a 5 lawn mowers at 5 billion+ as well. The only point I could see with that was if you knew what the mystery seed would do, and then intentionally avoided buying other boards than e.g. lawn mowers, so you could actually play in this "prestige"-mode. But I don't really see the point of a version with fewer things to do. Maybe the devs are aware of this, since it probably collides with the requests of deleting boards. Looking forward to an update. I'd give it a 5/5 because it's a great idle game overall. But because of this weird after-game and lack of options to turn off coins in the board overview or something else to reduce lag at late-game, I'll give it a 4/5 so far.
3/5 Addicting but I don't think it lives up to (or adds much from) the very similar game 'Burrito Bison' or Berzerk Studio's previous successes, and what's up with the mocking stereotype humor? Surely you could've come up with something more respectful, intelligent and funny. A lot of development time seems to have been spent on this game, which is a big reason I'm disappointed. The money-begging isn't helping but we live in a financially rough time so I guess it's hard to avoid. Got all badges but it was more from addiction, greed and frustration than having a good time. Too bad. Good luck on your next game.
@CheaterProtest01 Just like punishment is the main stimulant of violence in the real world, banning people for hacking doesn't solve any long-term problems. It only makes the challenge harder for hackers and the job for moderators (and reporters) more tedious. Instead I only think there's 2 viable paths: Prevention or acceptance. Either you deal with the fact that this system is inherently corrupt and move on (it's just silly numbers on a list, to make you feel good about yourself anyway, right?), or come up with a system where it isn't attractive to be a hacker. Just my 2 cents.

The highest pick quality I got was 1600% something. I don't know if there is a cap but what's possible seems to rise with the Blacksmith skill (don't know what Blacksmith Expertise actually does besides putting the +# there) because now I more frequently get a pick above 1000% (at 130% skill).
I'm not sure how high influence the Blacksmith Skill has though, because I use a few thousands gems to create a pick now, and before mining Hellstone I didn't use more than maybe a few hundred - and settled with any 600+% pick.
I feel stupid but I'm missing a clock part and I've been searching upstairs, outside, the toilet, the heating room, the hallway, the bedroom and the clockroom - and only find 9. I tried looking up walkthroughs but haven't found any that were able to help me. I always feel like I have to start over and just follow a walkthrough precisely.
Also, I got 3 cleaning cloths from the chest in the bedroom. Is that supposed to happen? I only needed one.
I'm guessing it's a bug but you can actually cheat in level 13, when you get the unlimited range ability. If you hold the mouse down for slowmotion effect, and move the mouse out of the game window it will keep scrolling until your mouse can't go any further on your actual screen. So distance really depends on where on your screen your game is, and how big your resolution is. If you have dual monitors you can go insanely long. I know it ruins many of the challenges there but I thought it was quite fun to explore when doing my second run for the hard badge.
I don't understand what you guys are talking about in level 5. Is the wagon missing for some people? It's perfectly fine when I try. The only thing I noticed is that pressing the rotation-buttons while driving the cart over makes the platform loose.
Is 8 the cap of all stats like it indicates in the inventory? I have +9 in loot & magnet. Is that going to waste, or is it just a visual cap? I'm asking since there's no warning and it's hard to tell if there's an effect with another +1 loot.
