A heads up on what to do for the nightmare would be nice. Thrown to the wolves and beaten down to lose all your levels kinda sucks. Also, the NPCs are really yappy. Should be a skip to end button, especially since I already know what they are going to say. Good game so far, just feels like I'm spinning my wheels.
Protip: You can quit a game without losing any streaks you may have going. As far as gameplay goes, it's a good dice game. Nice awards incentive. But at the end of it, it's still just a dice game and thus heavily luck based (despite the description's claims). In short runs, very fun, but to get awards takes long, long runs and thus becomes tedious. 3/5
Maybe if you'd eat the enemies more easily it would be playable. The ones that are faster and just spaz out are too hard to chase down. The bonus buttons on the side need numbered hotkeys and verbal descriptors. I don't want to memorize all those little symbols and it's a pain to have to hover them to figure out what they do. Quitting on level 6; taking my badge and going home. 1/5
Pay to play content for flash games is bull crap. The energy system alone ruins the game and shows it for an obvious money grab. Even without that flaw I can see this getting tedious fast. Click-fest on rails. No strategy. just grinding. *tip* You'd probably get more people paying you if you did a 50 kred - unlimited energy system. The fact that you even have a 1900 kred option (168 dollars!!) is a joke.
I seriously don't get this game. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do tricks or gain speed. Took me a dozen tries just to get the easy badge. :/
My favorite part is when I click on the special to pop all the balloons and the game just lags out and won't register the clicks. All these bloons games are so broken. I've seen a Super Monkey miss ONE yellow balloon over 100 times as it passed off the map because these stupid monkeys can't hit a target that crosses their body the wrong way. Towers that can't hit targets and specials that won't register are 2 huge flaws. I rate this game zero out of a billion.
Aside from a slight hiccup at 14, they were all pretty easy. Reminds me of The Incredible Machine. I know that total score is pretty worthless but time me after I know the rules, not while I'm learning them. 4/5
Too many levels are more an exercise in hitting the perfect pixel and less an actual puzzle. The game still works, but I grow impatient at the trial and error of placement to get past a level I understand how to beat.
It's too aimless. I have no goal other than to stumble on the mysterious rewards and awards. Even the small nest is an endurance run I don't care to attempt. This had promise with 4 badges and a 4.3 rating, but I pass. I don't even see a game here. *shrug*
Logged 12 hours on normal and only 4 for all of hardcore. So much for that being a bigger challenge. Also, it's not saving/posting any of my high scores for the final map.
Easy and forgiving. Dying means nothing. Another game that has enemies strike from off screen. I didn't like that areas had stop points on each side. Crap would just spawn there and hit you if you were on the edge. Quickest 50 points I may have ever done. Game has style but not much else. 3/5
A note on gameplay: The first few easy levels are exactly that.. easy. Once you complete about 5 maps or so and are ready to try some medium levels, the difficulty ramps up fast, as if the game expects you to have more skill points than you do. Once you push past that little barrier and actually acquire the points the next 10 maps or so get easier and easier as you can just plow them with your upgraded mages. Then again at the end it gets a little harder, but nowhere near the wall that happens early. This could turn off players. It almost sent me away and I enjoy this series. Also, as with the first game, the slowdown on a full map is just insane. I'm on a new machine and it can't even chew through it.
The progression path is too complicated and cryptic. The first game had it down nicely. I know you want to jazz things up, but this is just too convoluted. Simple is better sometimes. And I miss splash damage early.
