I'm only about 10 levels into beginner and I'm already sick of dragging pieces so much. It's not a comfortable motion to make and some of these puzzles need over 100 moves. The game itself is actually pretty good (so far) but the dragging is too repetitive.
Played on normal. No strategy. Building units was a waste. They would just go down and get destroyed by turrets or canceled out evenly in the middle. Eventually gave up on units and just maxed my own turrets to which the enemy just got mowed down. I didn't see any way this game could be beat, but in the last age there's some super solider BS that just goes down and 4-hit kills the base. So weak. Where's the game here? Mash some turrets; wait; make money; build god-mode soldier; win? This game has a 4.25 rating. You people are all crazy. 2/5
Okay game. Completely spastic controls, which I get. It's a drifting game. But those challenges to stay on the road or not hit anything are ridiculous. That hard badge is staying right there, thanks.
Okay, after playing a bit I think I got the hang of it, but powerups look too much like some bullets. WASD controls are a joke with the amount of pixels you move with one step. Mouse controls are the only option and they are unresponsive. I don't think the game is that hard. I think the controls make it harder than it has to be and that makes it less fun. 3/5
Tower Defense games are a dime a dozen these days. This one is fun, but doesn't really do anything new. I also don't like the fact that upgrades are more expensive than new towers. All I do now is litter the board with Super Towers and mash next wave. Maybe later levels require strategy - poison or freeze or actual upgrades but I'm not interested in finding out. Would play fully for badges, but probably not otherwise. 3.5/5
Didn't realize at first you had to add the stats. Thought it was automatic increases. Things went much more smoothly after that. I really like the customization. I made a tank virus. Max Str, Def, Rep. It was unstoppable. 4/5
This snake battle is stupidly hard. There's seemingly no pattern to his attacks. It's not based on where you are. It's just luck and hopping around like an idiot. The open mouth snake takes up 2 rows of ledges so if you're anywhere close you're effed. Ruined a really good game for me.
Shooting is messed up. Pressing up should center a shot on net. Pressing a direction with a shot should aim for that side. As it is the guy just fires in whatever direction his facing. I'll be right in front of the net with the ball, but facing my own goal and he'll just spaz it down the whole field instead of tapping it in 2 inches behind him. Unnatural shooting mechanic aside, it's pretty fun.
I like this game. I like the different paths. But I am super frustrated by the coffee mug in the far left locker. Every time I click on it I just close the locker.
After a few waves I just gave up on even trying to kill anything and just ran down to repair after the mobs left. Still won. I guess it has some replayability with the achievements or trying to get a better time, but meh.
I thought for sure I was playing some training "dream" scene or something because of the maxed out numbers. Nope. Like that the whole game. Kinda wish the game didn't use pinball numbers and had a more visible growth. Having all the skills unlocked from the get-go is a bit much to handle. Still fun, but I'm an RPG hound. 4/5
Yeah, it might have style, but I can't seem to find the actual game play. I tabbed out (cuz of the snooze-fest) and left it running and I beat the level on autopilot. Also the mute doesn't affect cut scenes.
Difficulty jumps from extremes between levels. I'll tank one board 10 times in a row and then beat the next 3 barely scratched. This forces you to grind the level you are the worst at, which is frustrating. Missiles from off screen are pretty cheap too. The hard badge does look easy, but this PC I'm on lags hard when the zombies flood on wave 3 or 4 and I just wake up dead. 3/5
It's a shame this didn't have badges back when I was playing hardcore a few months ago. Now with new cards and gods I'll have to learn all over again. Kinda burned out on it, but hopefully I can shine it on for the points. Aside from some every-evolving balancing issues, it's a solid game. 4.5/5
Having to time the exact tenth of a second to make the CPUs do an about-face is weak. Most levels require it for a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, without that aspect, the levels would be super easy. So here's another "puzzle" game reduced to a timing game. 3/5
