Unholy Temple is no fun. Use Ice Storm, Fire Storm, Planned Assault, Warlord, Midas Touch and the highest damage per attack weapon you can find, regardless of mana / damage ratio. Nymph's Spellbook was the winner for me.
This is an intensely tedious game. The basic idea is ok, but match 3 games are not particularly fun to begin with, let alone for hours on end to get the hard badge.
@smaksing It's a mouse only arcade-style game, why does it need a story? Do circles really need personification? Really? (That said, fun story zyxstand!)
Surrenders and kicked opponents are shown as wins, but don't count as such toward the badge. They are a huge fraction of wins. I've won 8 matches so far and only have 1 win counted toward the badge because only 1 person stayed for the entire game.
This is a good game, but far too often enemies become unattackable and just slaughter your entire army, or a bannerman survives somehow and the battle becomes unwinnable.
Good game. I wish the tutorial were a little more in depth. It wasn't hard to figure out really, but a little popup window when you earn an item or level up would be appropriate.
I figured out how to get quite high scores on the Critical minigame. Turn up your sound and train yourself to click for the high pitched sound and not for the low pitched sound. In addition to the red outline and mouse symbol, the sound basically kept my mind from being tricked at all. I just got to 529 on that game, 87-124 on the others, so I'm no keyboard ninja.
IoneDecep - "Perfect" means collecting stars. As you're playing the minigame stars will fall on the left side. Press left or A to kick them out of the air. Later you'll also see Perfect (Combo). That's a challenge to collect a certain number of consecutive stars without making a mistake.
@HuugguH That survivor is a fugitive. They're wearing an orange jumpsuit and there's a symbol for them on the map (a guy with a shaved head and scars.)
I have an item. I buy an identical item (hoping that it might boost the one I have.) The new item never appears (or the old one disappears) and I lose my money.
@Thystonius I'm not a fan of these card games at all, or of the "take a cartoon you love and shove it sideways into a game it doesn't fit into" mentality. That said, you don't have to wait 8 hours for the easy badge. You just follow the quests and you've got it within 15 or 20 minutes. My problem with the entire game so far is that it's impossible to lose a match during that entire time. I'm basically watching a video that pauses occasionally.
After playing for a couple of months now, I just bought the terafactory. I am now at a point where the next research upgrade is at last 40 days in the future, and it's just a chrono tick. That's a bit of a jump, timewise, for the next to last research. I can't imagine how much the last tick upgrade costs...
