I guess it's just what it says it is...Tetris with blocks. Interesting theme but I kind of wished that there was some gameplay twist that, even just something small.
A modifier key, like Shift, to buy 5 or 10 units at a time would be sweet. In general the game was fun but didn't really challenge me to change my strategy at each battle...just build up some troops and spam the castle. Pretty easy. (Finished the last battle with two waves of 20 troops of each type, Medium difficulty.)
Superb controls, excellent terrain! Some of the tracks are too difficult and would love to come back to them again but for the lives / lack of save. This would be an excellent candidate for a level editor!
So, is the Smuggler's Den disabled or what? I played through all the missions on medium and a few on hard...the game was pretty easy and the gameplay didn't change at all from mission to mission, which is unfortunate. The size of the planet and placement of crystals seems to have no bearing on the gameplay.
Thanks to DCno10. The deagle challenge is easy if you hit the green box ONCE just as it spawns and is falling. Try it a few times and it should fall between the stacks for the gold. Just hit reset (R) over and over until you get it right.
The flip gun achievement is with the USP (handgun). The flip is done each time you reload. It's a totally slow achievement. The best place to work on it is in the Warm-up...then just mash the mouse button a million times.
I'm also stuck on the Desert Eagle Skill Challenge. Any ideas? Couldn't find a walkthrough online.
Couple of things would make this really fun: 36-degree movement. A mute button that I can find. Some indication of water and trees that are passable (and which are not). Your money listed on the unit buying screen and an indication of what you can afford. Some bugs: Artillery not capturing. When I'm broke, the spawn menu pops but I can't buy anything and the game hits a dead end. Great start!
Ace, 4 deal. Hit, get a queen...15, right? Wrong. Bust! The game is busted...can't have a simple blackjack game like this be so hopelessly flawed. Needs serious fixing.
