Okay, and now I just had a setup with no boxes to slow me down after the first screen, and a steep drop from max height into a tunnel at minimum height that I couldn't possibly drop into. THAT's the other part of how the total randomness ruins it.
The game probably could've been good, but things get too random -- mostly with the bombs. They seem to drop in when you're either in the air from a previous jump and can't react at all with no way to have seen it coming, or are close to the next edge and you can't quite clear the bomb and the hole.
Also, your achievements are shamelessly grindy. I got like 100 or less kills of each type in a full game and the achievements are for like 3000 of each. I'm sorry, that's a waste of time.
You really need to be able to stick to the wall immediately upon jumping into it. As is, you fall a short distance before touching down on the new surface, and it makes some of the trickier transitions in 40+ damn near impossible since you skip over the first 1-2 squares on the new side.
Needs an option to reduce quality, the framerate absolutely TANKS when the bad guys show up and there needs to be a way to mitigate that a bit -- it doesn't seem to be due to the blood splatter, so however you did that without cranking up processing, good for you.
Yeah, I'm pretty much done with this. Too many BS deaths because of chat lag, and falling half the screen between frames because of it. Basically 40% of the game after level 20 was pure luck because of that.
Word to the wise: unlock Farty Pants as soon as you can. Commence forward flips from a standing jump and watch your boost last for the entirety of the level.
*sigh*...six now. Which means I would've had the 5-win badge TWICE if people being vain douchecaps about their OMG ZERO LOSS RECORD didn't deny you your point.
Unfortunately, it doesn't count as a win if the other player leaves. I've been borked out of the win four times now when my opponent left at 10 Castle or less.
Some kind of bug. I picked the "closed" govt. type, and the game didn't end when I'd vaccinated 75%. I played some more and eradicated the flu, and still no dice. I passed the 40-day limit, and it's STILL going.
