Wow, I feel dumb. I got up to about level 130 before I realized what the button CLEARLY LABELED "Create Mosquito" was going to do. The game got much faster after that.
Was having fun until I hit the "only in the full version" BS. I dropped my rating and I'm not going to play again. That kind of bait and switch garbage doesn't belong on Kong.
It would be nice if the 5-leaf clover unlocked some utility or granted bonuses. I finished the 5-leaf by Tier 24, and now I'm wondering why I should sit through the rest.
It was hard enough to catch runes before, trying to find my mouse pointer in the melee of spell effects. Now the runes are either bouncing off spell effects or randomly accelerating across the screen at random intervals, and I can't even tell if that's intentional or not.
The first rule of game club is: Have a mute button. No, seriously. After that, frankly, play a bunch of other idle games and study their mechanics to see what gameplay methods you find the most fun. This is obviously a first attempt, but there's nothing wrong with that. Take physical notes about other games, on paper, and you'll get a reasonable collection of thoughts you'll be able to turn into a decent game. For example: See if incrementing once per second vs something that feels more continuous (like every 10th or 100th of a second) works better for gameplay and the end user experience. If you're learning for a "life skill", always pick something that seems a little bit out of reach and figure out how to do it. You'll learn more that way.
Well, hot damn. I had no idea we could manage the tags ourselves by clicking on "Add Tags", and I've been on this site for close to a decade. Hopefully everyone else that also didn't know will learn about this and help keep things under control. I've thrown in my upvotes and changed my rating of your game. My distinct apologies, Mr Developer.
it builds a rocket once you have enough resources which allows you to, once launched, explore the solar system.
