Movement is awkward, as the character tends to get stuck on things, and combat is very boring. The quests shunt you right into your basic kill X five times... so no exciting storyline, either. This will need a lot of work before it is worth playing.
Hello, try using WASD / Arrow Keys for finite movement. Sorry you don't like the game. There are over 700 quests in the game right now and they are not all "Kill x" there is a storyline as well.
Those who advocate animal husbandry over fishing probably aren't allocating enough people to research. If you focus on research and fishing in the late game, your population will explode in a way that nothing else can provide.
Not a bad game from this genre. Wartune is still the king of course, but this provides an acceptable substitute with a significantly different graphics style that may appeal more to those who appreciate this type of aesthetic over the J-pop we see in Wartune.
For a rating, we started out at 3/5 for being exactly the same as every other game in this genre. Dropped to 2/5 from there for being excessively laggy with uninteresting characters.
You won't be able to dodge the snake boss at the end, once he's already coming. So the question you must ask yourself: Is there a pattern to his movements? There is, so pay attention!
I don't mind difficulty, but I dislike having to repeat sections of a song that I already have down pat in order to get to the parts I'm trying to learn. You waste a minute of your time each attempt going through a section you can do with your eyes closed (literally, I did it going just off the beat).
Very pretty artwork. ...that's pretty much it. The CCG and combat mechanics are almost minimalistic, and the storyline is riddled with lazy translations and outright bugs. 3/5
Started at 5 stars; I've always been very fond of this style of tower defense. However as the game continues you begin to notice how absurdly intrusive the developers are with the many, many, MANY options to waste your money on this game. Relatively quickly, you hit a wall where you cannot continue play because your towers cannot be upgraded enough. At that point it's either spend real money or wait for resources to trickle in, causing actual play time to be reduced to a few minutes every week. I can understand devs wanting to be payed for their work, but there comes a point when the money-grubbing is so blatant that it ruins the game. Rating reduced to 3/5.
I enjoy the combat system, remembering it fondly from the Legend of the Void games, but find that the lack of storyline/world is a problem for me. This game is almost solely an arena, whereas many MMO games include the Arena as only one small part of the game. I hope to see much further expansion in the future.
Slow ability effect on enemies hard-caps at 70%, yet the skill allows you to continue wasting points to improve it beyond that (to no additional effect). Excellent design choice! It's right up there with declining to inform new players that Con is the only un-trainable ability.
In every matching game the player must rely on luck to a certain extent. This game, by re-arranging the entire field every few turns, is far more dependent on luck than most. This is not a good thing.
This TD has some decent graphics, but there is no originality to be had from the types of towers and enemies available. Then again, when the enemies and resources are clearly intended to mimic starcraft, why would we be expecting originality?
The decision games are all great, but I feel like they're pretty much the same thing from one to the next. This is medieval themed with a much heavier emphasis on melee combat, true, but aside from that everything is pretty much the same. 4/5 for lack of innovation.
Y'know the little X next to your save game when you're on the loading screen? Well, it looks just like all the Xs in-game that mean "Push the X button" Also, there's nothing to indicate that pressing it will delete your game, and no confirmation message to delete a game either.... in short, goodbye to all my progress.
Man, I'm so sorry... I know how that feels. We will definitely change this in future games. Look up the tutorial to get back to where you left off, it's not that long of a game. Really sorry for this though. I actually felt multiple times how it's like to lose all your progress in a game.
The act of solving one of these "puzzles" is too simplistic to offer any real stimulation. This is the kind of game you play when you just want to kill time with a repetitive task.
