I really liked that there were no killing and staring over. If one messed up and got hit, and one was quick enough, sometimes movement could be saved and not having to begin from the start! Loved that. Level20 had a large jump in difficulty I think. Could have had some harder platforming in the earlier levels to make up for that perhaps.
Short and quick. I liked it, 3 stars. Focusing on dmg worked out pretty well so i dont know if the game was supposed to be this quick or not, missing to kill stuff didnt seem to matter much. Had to move around a lot to catch as much as possible and earn coin to afford upgrades though.
Everything save one thing is well made and its fun game so I give it 4 stars. The game only have 1 issue imo. Balance, its wonky, with spell usage the game is too easy, without em its a grindfest to get units. Can be worked around with self imposed restrictions though to only allow oneself 1 spellcast of say blind or resurrection.
That last 500hp skeleton is such BS. 100 skills in attack and defense. It still hits 90% of the time and constitution is so f-ing rare... Dumping 8k into theology and it only consistently only lands you at 180-200hp. Only using the 200 resting option as well. All it gives is charisma and wisdom, and maybe once str/con. I hate RNG/luck dependent hard badges.
Its so satisfying being the being that escapes and inspire panic and fear. Really good music for this short game. Liked every part of it. Is there any secrets anywhere? Hidden secret nooks or fake ceilings etc with someting unusual like notes or something that adds some backstory/setting or a small powerup could be something to add.
Red ball gets stuck in wall randomly and goes down inside it. The cardinal sin for a game like this is the No Control over the balls trajectory. 1 star for that alone. 15min game... why did you upload it when it was that incomplete? Remix, whats remixed?! Nothing is.
One serious flaw. Whenever you place the last piece in a full vertical wall the lag makes you lose lots of pieces in a row due to the top being blocked and you cant move out fast enough. Needs a grace period before pieces gets stuck just like in regular tetris.
So much guesswork needed and no way to keep track. Its all about guessing the first few couple of lines correctly then solve the rest in the hopes you made the first right. I dislike this game for this reason so much. The closest I can think of is Sudoku but thats actually so much fun, no guesswork there and you almost instantly know if something is correct or not. This game desperately needs at least 3 things; an option to lock a single circle and an option to color in another as a guess, something to denote a way you started out before.
Since i got stuck i started over and used a walkthrough. Apparently the Barkeep conversation doesnt happen for whatever technical reason. Great... a broken game is a daily badge.
Casual observations 1# Difficulty curve doesnt exist in this game. 2#The persuade% is false as well. Currently 25 fails of a supposedly 20% in a row on Bob, 8 fails of 40% on krusty etc etc. Its so blatantly misleading its not even funny. 4#Everyone who is "online a lot" is decked out in so much money only gear, and thus ignores the time gate. Very telling of a horribly designed cash grab.
Currently im playing "free" just to see how f***** people really are, in week 2 of the 3 i decided to give it. Miserable experience thus far.
Agreed setsuna, the medium badge is strange. This should have been an easy badge. Pretty much a 5min game with nice art and music. More a story than a game.
