Good idea, it's awesome that you can do this with so many pictures, but as mentioned before... synonyms.
for "ship" I first tried: Icebreaker, boat
for "starfruit" I first tried Lime, kiwi (same color)
for "bicycle" I first tried bike
for "strawberry" I first tried "Strawberries" and was so confused that I tried 'raspberries', 'razberries', and 'berries' until I tried 'strawberry' and got it.
This would be good for kids. As it is now it's alright for a few plays.
Trying to eat a letter above you shouldn't KILL you outright, it should just knock you back down a few letters. That totally breaks the flow of gameplay and forces the player to go through the menu system again, which is boring.
mute button + more music or longer tracks + normalize your sounds = better rating.
If it were possible to give negative points to a 'game', i would.
this is the worst piece of crap on kong.. i'd say it's like a high school flash project but i've seen better high school flash projects.
The sound, music, art, controls, concept... all perfect! However, it's slightly boring... 'get to the exit' is a pretty old mechanic. 4/5 because it just needs something.... more.
Eagerly waiting for more games from you! It looks like you have all the mechanics down!
Wow, just when I thought calculus wasn't fun... You have to be pretty ADD to succeed well - i found myself using the 'acceleration' track almost exclusively.
One change you might want to make - losing a life on ONE block shouldn't make them ALL flash... it may make things easy but at high speeds I was pretty much just getting smashed by dark green blocks continually until i lost all my lives in one go.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE INCLUDE A FULLY AUTOMATIC FIRE MODE. Just a meter that goes down as you hold down the button, and recharges when you stop firing.
Too difficult, not enough variation - all the asteroids seem to travel at about the same speed so there's no prioritizing. big ones = slower? Why do we have to click on the upgrades to get them... shouldn't they just fall to earth? 3/5 for too much clicking and it got boring pretty quickly, but I like the art and the neat 'rotate the earth' mechanic.
2/5 for inconsistent (and lame) art, and for being another boring 'avoid the ???' game. And for disappointing me because I thought this was going to be awesome. I mean... it has red mage! And Lich!
4/5 because it's a little bit repetitive, but otherwise freakin awesome. I love that there are a lot of upgrades, and they're all reflected with tiny art changes to the robot. The satellite bomb reticles are a little annoying.
Does this have a pause button? :( Or a save option?
Ugh, I second all of JohnSteel and FatalFox's comments, except I think the path changing system is a HORRIBLE idea - it invalidates the entire point of tower defense. Why would I build towers if the enemy is just going to go around them?
Also - the creeps don't follow the path exactly! it's more like a 'suggestion'.
First.
Blatant PacMan ripoff.
What goes through someone's mind when they decide to make a flash game? In this case, we know the answer, it's "Hey, I should remake a 28-year-old game that's been done and redone a million times before".
You get 2/5 for execution, which is the only thing that saves this from 1/5
Pretty nice aesthetically, though you need to make it clear that only killing the smallest ones actually gives you points. 3/5 because it's a little simplistic and boring up until about LV20, where it just becomes a crazy scrub-the-mousefest.
The art is terrible. The UI is an impediment to solving every single puzzle. You need to provide visual clues to the possible actions of each puzzle. I like the emphasis on decoding / math, but some of the solutions were just ridiculous and obfuscated. 1/5 for being a pixel hunt with absolutely no reward.
