It's annoying the way it constantly moves the buttons while buying Community upgrades. Whatever format/table it's using needs to be fixed so that the changing size of the numbers doesn't move things up or down.
Tower skills are too annoying to use for such limited effects. Suggestion: Instead of giving each tower a mana rating, instead give the player a mana rating and have the tower skills be toggles that subtract from the player's maximum mana pool when they're toggled on. Then the player can only have a limited number active at any given time and has to decide which ones are most beneficial to their play style. If the player gets personal skills that also draw on mana, it would add a further element of strategy.
Usually, when a game loads up with that Construct^2 gear logo, it means it'll be 1 star right off and don't look back. However, this is, in my opinion, at least a little bit better than the usual.
Today I come back to all Research Lab upgrades being reset to 0 without nearly enough RP to buy them back up to where I had them. Change the game description to "Warning: Don't play this game because you'll constantly lose progress." There have been games in the actual Beta section that had more stable development. And those games don't allow you to rate them because they're expected to have growing pains. Adjusting my rating of this game down to 1 star. If I ever check back and deem it safe to play, I will happily mark it back up.
Some patches ago Balance only affected 100B+ energy people and added a Dark Matter so nobody everybody had a buff. As I dont care ratings I didnt need to release it as a Beta, Read game description in Kongregate ;)
Also, the upgrades being below the container and constantly having to scroll down to them is annoying. Especially when there's apparently all that space to the right of the container where they could go.
Interesting premise. The Copy to Clipboard function for exporting saves doesn't appear to be working. And if there's no cloud save, either, that means I won't be able to maintain a save. But I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
I like this game, but it's clearly something that's supposed to be played long term. The apparent lack of a cloud save or save export is, therefore, a fatal flaw.
Hrm... I never had this mysterious Boost that's supposedly a "necessity". Given the tedious progression of stages and character growth, upgrading equipment to the max level of 15 hasn't seemed like a priority, so I'm currently sitting on a growing pile of gold whose most immediate use may be respecs. That said, the gem drops are meaningless and should just directly be gold unless there's going to be another use for gems.
Normally, given that there's no online save or export option, I'd 1-star this game. However, the concept amuses me enough that I'm rating it a bit higher.
Will be fixed in next update.
