So it's a very simple game, yet I lose the first and second level. The upgrades are out of reach after the first lvel (800 bucks vs the 650 you earn) and there's really not much to do. Still, it's better than most of the "drag clothes to doll" games that end up here. Good start, needs more things to do and more options to upgrade & more balance on the early levels.
I don't have enough money or health to continue? There's no way to grind back up if you screw up a duel?? This could be fun, but without some basic $0 duels to recover, it's too easy to get frustrated and just quit.
Would love to see an auto-collect when the level finishes. There's usually a few bucks laying around when I finish that I can't get before the doors close. Not sure it would make that much difference in my overall cash. Only glitch is the pathfinding when a penguin and turtle are on opposite sides of a box. The penguin will just walk into the box until time runs out. Minor issue, multiple penguins will eventually get that last turtle.
Bug: losing bags on the way to the room, my guy cleans it instead of dropping bag, and the bag goes away and the customer leaves. Real pain trying to put out the kitchen fire, I seem to want to cook despite having 3 guys AND a fire going on. NEED: guy to put out fires. NEED the concierge to call taxis. NEED the concierge to move faster, seems to be stuck. NEED better information on where the diff rooms go & what I can't build otherwise
Early on buy the crap out of steering and train your driver to steer. THen drive defensive on wet tires and you'll pretty easily sweep the early divisions.
Issues: If one of my characters dies, the AI enemies will often walk over him to attack. If I cast resurrect, that enemy will vanish until I move the resurrected character & then reappear. The enemies are exactly the same on every level. They seem to forget you exist if you retreat just one square and it's really annoying that none of my old stats import. It can't possibly be that hard to import my old characters...
So one day i get shocked at 13x whatever, so I buy a ton of protection and now it's 16xwhatever? Am I misunderstanding the math? Why is this short circuit thing so punishing? Fix that either by making the protection mean something or dropping the overall damange and it'd be a much, much, much better game.
Click to grow and this goes from 1/5 to 4/5. Otherwise, it's a game entirely about dodging your own guys with your mouse cursor in the desperate hope that they'll move the right direction for a half second so you can feed them.
Upgrades would make going back to earlier levels MUCH more fun, give you a chance to cause mayhem rather than fidgeting with the really irritating bonuses. Multiply the $ by ten and it still works out ok and it'll actually make sense. The few levels you get to use the alternate vehicles are cool, but it would be great if you could upgrade to those, or use them on levels you'd gotten all bonuses on just for carnage. Overall very fun minus some speed issues and a few odd moments with the physics. 4 stars.
For a 5 star life try to find a BF w/ at least 2 traits you're looking for and hope for good qualities in the first few years. If you don't get them, restart. You want at least +20. Then prioritize career building.
My biggest complain = HUGE stretches of time with nowhere to sell. I either have tons of risky ports or there's simply nowhere buying opium. Also, why do I make zero dollars on selling tea?
i... Don't know it must be a bug, it doesnt do that to me.
