However the hell it's decided when you get squashed or not, it is really, really awful. There are times where I will literally just walk into a space that's a little too small for me and the monkey freaking explodes for no reason whatsoever. It's really extremely rage inducing.

Oh wow, a platformer where the main puzzle mechanism is that the levels wrap around. How terribly original...

In the beginning it's pretty fun, towards the end it just starts pissing you off. Things start dealing an unreasonable amount of damage, you start being forced to rely on spamming special moves rather than actually using combos or tactical fighting, the incessant strings of enemies spawning during boss fights gets to be pretty darn ridiculous and, again, forces you to basically just use brute force by activating rage, using specials, then buying potions and repeating, the enemies further on shooting you gets to be pretty annoying seeing as this is supposed to be a damned fighting game and I'm not even sure why the heck shooting is heavily involved...overall it eventually just gets way too rage inducing. Also, why the hell would you make upgrades that are only available after beating hard mode, which is only available after beating normal? Do you legitimately believe anyone is going to play this 3 times? If anything they should be unlocked after winning the game at all.

Eh, this has potential, but unfortunately it seems somewhat poorly thought out. This is one of those games where there isn't any one single thing that breaks it, it's just little annoyance after little annoyance; no grid to align things nor any indication of where we can/cant build towers, being forced to click through production options, having items just fling out rather than giving us an inventory bar of some sort, the order in which upgrades are introduced is idiotic (an excellent example would be waiting until level 8 to give us the ability to recycle towers)...actually, if I had to choose one main annoyance I would say it's the gradually introduced upgrades. It serves no possible purpose, it's not like it's necessary to ease the player in over and over again and the player doesn't earn the upgrades, it appears to just be there for the sake of it. So basically it all comes down to the dev clearly not considering playability.

I realize this is likely a complex bit of reasoning to follow, but there's a problem with using the scroll wheel to change weapons. Oddly enough it's because, get this, the scroll wheel is used to scroll the screen up and down. I realize that seems hard to believe that something called a scroll wheel would already scroll something and thus be inappropriate to use to switch weapons in a game, but it's true, I promise.

I'd make a number of complaints here, but seeing as this game has been around for quite a number of years I get the feeling that there probably won't exactly be too many changes to the game anymore at this point...Oh, and vultureking, it's good that you signed off that comment. Otherwise we might not know who left it.

This needs to have a button that allows your aim to snap to either 15° or 45° angles, seeing as 3/4 of the damn game involves repeatedly bouncing lasers and whatnot where if you're off by even a tiny little bit the deviation will get big enough to totally ruin the shot. And as a side note, despite the apparent zombie apocalypse everyone here looks so darn cheerful. Every time they move their eyes it's like they're in wonderment at everything around them. I wonder if maybe there wasn't some sort of biological attack that has affected their mental function to the point where they're retard happy all the time...or maybe they're all just really, really stoned...

Idk if I'm quite as big a fan of this one as the first one. This one seems to draw far less of its difficulty from actual thinking puzzles and more from just trying to control a whole bunch of plumbers at once, particularly when bombs start coming into play. I'm finding myself being forced to restart levels over and over again even when I know exactly how to do them simply because I fail to position and move groups of plumbers exactly as I'm required, which is very frustrating in my opinion.

K, tower of glory just isn't realistic. That level alone makes the hard badge impossible. Had the last level not existed I would've been left with a fairly good opinion of this game. Now whenever I think of it I loathe it, having gotten all the aces and speedruns (which you have to do to even know what the last level is) only to have the developer go "Ha! Aren't I so clever having made the last level so difficult no casual player could ever hope to beat it? Hope you're willing to spend another few frustrating hours playing the level long past the point that there was any fun or novelty left in it in a desperate attempt to not have had the time you spent on the hard badge wasted!". Plus I don't feel too terrible rating the game poorly exclusively due to that absurd level, since the developer is the one primarily in control of badges.

Developer response from oddgoo

Yeah some of the levels have not aged gracefully... Sorry about that I will try and tweak the last level.

K, and so could someone possibly explain why exactly getting trophies results in your enemies getting harder, or what moronic line of thought led to such a feature? Cause see, normally the idea in games is supposed to be that when you kill more of something, you get better at doing so. In this case they get exponentially tougher while we're capped the hell off at some ridiculously low level, and we're stuck with lvl 1 weapons. I can't believe they thought people would ever want to pay to play this freaking thing. I'm really happy flipline never tried anything this stupid again, but unfortunately that doesn't change the damned badges they clearly paid kongregate to give the game...not that I'm actually sure how to even get the one for nidarian points seeing as there's nobody around to rate floats or play co-op...

Wow. Wow. $7.50 for a month's membership? 30$ for 6 months? 100$ for lifetime? How high was whoever made this thing? One could go play runescape, a very regularly updated game that gives you an immense amount for members, for freaking 6 bucks or so a month. 15 gets a month's worth of WoW, which this obviously can't even hold a candle to. 40 and you can go buy diablo 3, which you don't pay any subscriber fees for. Hell, I'm not even sure why this is multiplayer, the whole thing should be single player and free, it ain't that special. I'll be honest, seeing that suddenly really hurt my opinion of this game and flipline in general. Maybe that's why no one wants to play this game, because they get damned sick of seeing that they need to be a subscriber, yet no one with even a hint of a sense of money would pay such absolutely ridiculous rates? I'm sorta glad flipline fell on their face here. They deserved it with that sort of arrogance.

I'm not sure why, out of anything you could've possibly added, you decided to put in "random sized rocks and glaciers", yet another reason to avoid actually moving fast. What's the point of not just sitting on the slow down button for the vast majority of the game? And again, there's so much stuff that could be added that would've made the game more fun, but for some reason apparently in your mind what the game really needed was yet another way to stop people from actually doing things. No, it doesn't seem like a whole new game, it seems like the same one except with something extra to annoy the player.
