Seems the balance could use some tweaking - I have 3 Coordination upgrades I can't afford to use. Even with only 1/3 of my employable Trimps working and 5/6 of my Trimps dedicated to breeding, I can only support 1 more Coordination upgrade - but when I'm running the main world, if I try to send that many Trimps at once my breeding rate will drop so low that I won't recover my Trimps by the time my fighting group is killed. Right now my fighting group is 2,048 large, and my Coordination upgrade says "11(+3)". I would like to build up my population size so I could get higher coordination, but at this point even Hotels make too little difference for their price. I noticed that you're aware that balance goes south in the later levels, figure more data means better chance of fixing it. Thanks for the game, been addicted since I started!
For anyone who's frustrated with how long it takes to get all of the faction upgrades and heritages when you're playing as a neutral faction - when you have enough gems that it won't hurt, use excavation! I bought 10 excavations on this run as Druids, and came out with almost 200,000 of EACH faction coin! Cost me a small fraction of my >2T gems, and paid back MUCH more than the bonus I lost from spending the gems. Now I've made more gems than I started the run with and surpassed my last run in UNDER 5 HOURS. Already have 3T gems racked up.
roxas3000 - did you happen to purchase an archaeology upgrade? Those cost gems which go straight to your soft-reset pile. If you bought one or more totaling 7B, that would do exactly what just happened to you.
milford and bookboy - Huh, I hadn't thought to use it with Improved Autocasting. By the time I thought to simul-autocast I was just running autocast on TC plus the CtA->GH->TC chain until I could get Masterful Autocasting. I think in the early run it may be best to go heavy on auto-TC since it builds Angelic Determination most quickly, but AD does slow down (eg the first spell is worth 1% but the second is worth 0.866% and the 40th is worth 0.62%) so after a bit it's likely worthwhile to simul-autocast CtA+GH even without Masterful Autocasting.
milford - Once you get enough gems for Masterful Autocasting to be in reach (I'm talking tens of billions of gems) Angel's become a powerful passive faction thanks to the ability to have Call to Arms and God's Hand on simultaneous autocast. One is always on, most of the time they overlap, and altogether it's a massive, effectively perpetual, boost to income with no clicking required once it's set up.
5000munny - Gems do increase click value, albeit indirectly. Click value is influenced greatly by production - a number of upgrades give 2%+ of total production to click value, which means that as gems boost total production that boosts clicks.
Anyone have a quick guide to which boosts are multiplicative and which are additive? I'm working on a spreadsheet-based effective gain calculator to tell the percent boost new purchases give relative to total production instead of base production, and it would help greatly to be sure of how different boosts combine.
Kept losing focus and scrolling down the screen while I was holding space to fire. It would work fine for a level or two, then *POW* bottom of the page.
PresiMane - Each successive unit costs 1.15x the last. When you buy one, the price goes up 15%. This applies to all buildings, regardless of production, though there are Fairy upgrades which lower the price increase ratio of the first three buildings.
Albertros - When you get the tier 3 Fairy upgrades the first three buildings turn into 30-50% of your production, plus there's the spell that boosts their production pretty nicely. Fairies aren't too too bad.
Atom - I've literally only had the "only buys 1 when I tried to buy 10/100" problem twice since the keys were implemented. And I buy a LOT of sets of 10/100. I don't know what's up on your end but here it works 99.99-99.999% of the time.
Rinky - Take the math to the end. 11k% boost * 97% (which is what you said comes from your Hell Portals) = 107.67% total. 1k% boost * 1k% boost (aka 10k% boost) * 100% = 101% total.
Rinky - Have you actually run them both to see what happens? Keep in mind that a 1k% boost means x11 (1k% = 10.00 + 1 for the base) and an 11k% boost means x111 (11k% = 110.00 + 1 for the base). Even when you multiply 1k%*1k% you only get 10k% (10.00 * 10.00 = 100.00) for x101. I was just running Demon with some 150 trophies and I went ahead and used HB since they were close and it was one less click before going to the treasure chest.
I love how responsive the developer is. It's always fantastic to see a game which continues to be invested in and improved on such a constant basis. You are a shining role model for all game developers, DivineGames!
Something is amiss with the Demonic Presence upgrade. It claims to award a 0.5% bonus to Hell Portal production for every other building owned. I own 1460 other buildings, so it should give me 730%. It says I get 73.0%. I don't know if it's a typo or a miscalculation, but one of those things has the wrong value.
There is bug in the current version of the game that makes Hell Portals produce less than intended. It will be fixed in the next update :) EDIT: it's up now!
Suggestion: Once all factions have been mastered (maybe all upgrades purchased, 50-100 Coin Exchanges per Faction Coin, 300-500 of each building?) and a certain number of gems have been reached (no idea here) enable the option of a Semi-Hard Reset which would remove all gems and in exchange it would allow one to ally with all Good or Evil factions at once. Then, once one mastered both sides they could ally with everyone. I know this would take a fair bit of work to implement, so it's just a suggestion for once baseline stuff is tended to. Also, re: spells with multiple alliances, maybe have the 4th spells of the allied factions available as upgrades, and allow the purchase of two (since there's room for the button)? Or maybe make the buttons slightly smaller to simply allow all three? I feel this would extend the game reasonably without making the multi-alliance ability too easy to get to.
Attention: There seem to be some issues with save files, and people getting set back significant amounts of progress. Until these issues are resolved, play safe and export your save to a text file! I posted this already, but people keep complaining about lost saves.
Angel Spell Strategy: Once you're making enough mana (I started doing this around 15/sec) click God's Hand, then click the treasure chest until you can cast Call to Arms, then click the treasure chest until God's Hand is almost over and grab whatever Tax Collections you can before it runs out. With normal rates of ~80T/sec and ~60T/click, I'm netting a little over 4 Qi coins every time I run this set.
TheLowerLight - I know, I was pointing out a problem with the idea of having flat click upgrades pre-purchased after soft resets, since someone else said they wanted that feature. Thankfully the game keeps them available without having to click endlessly again and again, but not pre-purchased. If they remained purchased across resets, I would have had to hard reset 2 days worth of Elvish clicking (over 100k clicks) to get the 1337 trophy when I found out about it. Would have sucked.
