I have shielded Sapphires with freeze shells. I can get a Mjolnir in under 2 minutes. But none of that matters when my opponent can get 2 Goliaths out even faster...
Ragnarok, Omega, Rippers, Raven. Raven is awesome but weakens every weapon except rippers, which strengthen it. Ragnarok because it's the only special that guarantees a kill + damage. To level up quickly, use Midas + Sentinel or Midas + Ferromag. Ferromag can increase the points you get by up to/over 50%.
I want to like this game, I really do, but the extra modes are just so bad. Combined with the grinding for essentially necessary upgrades, bad ally AI, and buggy enemies/achievements, 3/5
Seems to be a step back from the previous titles, which I loved. No real information about the differences between races, special powers are mediocre (my level 3 rock volley consistently kills <5% of enemies) and, like the previous versions, the inevitable impossible battles where the enemy charges you with its strongest troops less than a minute into the match...
Drastically changing the game settings and telling players they have to start a new game to change them back is a great way to get people not to play. I invested ~5 hours in a save, then come back today to see asteroids are 6-7x smaller, and I have to re-kill every single pirate I've already killed...
i fixed that in build 11, i put respawning OFF default. and asteroid size is back up as default. less impact on currently running games. however, build 11 also lets you pick starting ship and credits...so porting over to another map isn't so bad. im considering a pilot profile that can switch maps.
Don't want to play as a melee hero? Use the Skeleton King. Use a bow, kill a few enemies, raise a few skeletons, which will occupy enemies and help you kill more = more skeletons = profit
Ok, so this game was pretty good and fairly easy - I only had 3 zombies get through the whole game - but my survivors dying so much pissed me off. I had FIFTEEN survivors die over a span of 5 days, which meant I found nothing over the final 7 days. Also, you are pretty much forced to use the grenade launcher.
Another balancing complaint: I know Green is the snowball deck, but being able to draw certain cards is OP. If you have multiple Maledictions in your deck, for example, as you play lots of "draw a card," cards your odds of drawing a Malediction in any turn get close to 40-50%. That's game vs. any creature deck. I just had Malediction played on me 6 turns in a row...
Blue has some insanely unbalanced cards. Arsenic does 1 damage to the enemy hero/turn permanently? Mayhem destroys all enemies for FIVE gold?
With card upgrades, you can set up a pure damage/low cost blue deck with cards like waylay, surveillance, ambush, satchel bomb, hemlock, belladonna, and reconnaissance, play a card every turn (all of those cards cost 4 or less except hemlock), and do 4+ damage each turn reliably. No counter, as "spells" can't be dispelled...
I wanted to see how bad the rubber banding was, so I took my maxed-out tier 2 car back to the first level and raced it without shooting/using turbo. Won by about 2 seconds. That should tell you, dev, that you need to reconsider your programming...
Not stolen back off too.
