Wow, it's a nice looking game, but playing it makes me angry. I'm a gamer who likes to play games where I can gain MORE control as the game progresses. This game is all about punishing you for your progress.
OK, I tried again, but after it shows you your score at the end of stage one, that's it. Nothing else happens. It just sits there looping the music over and over.
Ummm WTF!? I when I load the game, instead of showing up in the city where I last saved, I'm showing up at the beginning of the battle that I can't win!? Good thing I wasted four hours playing this.
It would be great to have some more tutorials to learn how to predict the behavior of these cells. I'm at a level where I just ran out of interest because the possibilities of placement seem to be somewhat numerous, and I don't really have the patience to try over and over at a game.
OK, do I die if my hired fighters die, because I just died even though I hadn't fought anyone. My guys were fighting (I think, since too much is going on to tell what's happening) and I was just running along the edge of the screen to get behind the enemy, and suddenly I was dead.
Is it possible to actually survive a battle? I can't seem to live longer than 10 seconds. There needs to be a better explaination of how the combat system works because right now I think it's broken.
OK, two actual issues with the game. 1) as mentioned, it's really boring to wait for all of the leaked creeps to wind through the opposing side's defenses. You know they are leaked. There's nothing anyone can do about them, so why do we have to wait for them? 2) There's no way back to the "lobby" if you are stuck waiting for another player to show up, or if you want to get out of Sandbox mode and go back.
It's a little frustrating when you are building up a great defense, and your opponent seems clueless about how to deal with Flyers. Then suddenly the game is over and you never got to test your own strategy.
Can't hit the first target. I make a tiny move on one of the controls and suddenly the rocket is going down instead of up. Really hard to figure out what to do.
Has ANYONE managed to last 3 minutes on the zombie one? Are you supposed to be able to buy weapons and turrets? How is it possible to last that long when it takes forever to reload the shotgun? Or am I supposed to get carpal tunnel trying to play?
Absolutely no indication of how to play. You have to play once just to understand what's going on, and then there's no way to leave a game except to reload the page.
You get almost no money, and when you buy something it makes practically no difference in gameplay (faster rate of fire, really?). Way too difficult to be enjoyable.
