Ok, so that $60 blue background 'frame' with the... uh... "foreign lettering" on it? I know what that says, and there is no way in hell I'd have that thing anywhere remotely close to me, let alone above my bed. Though, I suppose it's probably true about this guy, especially after he starts using the steriods...
Haven't even left on my 1st "Adventure", but... Yes, I realize I won't be able to afford anything in the shop at the beginning, but would it be too much to ask to at *least* see what everything actually costs...?
Crafting Quests should *really* just auto-complete if the quest item recipe is already in your Recipe Book (i.e. you made one already). Especially true in the case of Forge-req items, or (as in my case) Blast Shield. Made 2 Nail Bats, sold one (dumb me). Have to make *another* now, because I made Vindicator *1* screen before I got the craft quest for it... *sigh*
The Advanced and Pro Training courses all recommend I collect coins... Well, I don't know about anyone else, but my MAX Energy is 50, and I hit that in the Amateur league... What am I supposed to be spending these coins on, anyway?
Watching the Hall of Momentary Fame is possibly the most amusing part. Seeing the leader falter, and get replaced by someone new for the next .5 sec before they, too, falter... :D
If you have "established since the beginning" that auto-run is part of the game, I suggest you include that in the instructional part of the game, maybe have a sign that says you only turn it off for shops or somesuch. Right now the instructions feel rather... *incomplete* due to no mention of auto-run anywhere, until AFTER the instructions and the real game has started.
Makes me GLAD I hadn't finished the game before badges came out... I can't think of any thing more likely to induce depression than the possibility of having to complete Level 40 TWICE!
First thing that came to mind when reading the description is that this is the result of a successful Dragon Defender game (not that long ago) vs the surrounding countries which were unsuccessful in stealing eggs.
Ability levels are always 7 for Expert, 15 for Master, though some Master abilities *also* require high Stats, such as 25 Strength for Master Axes and 25 Vitality for Master Fortitude. These "extra" requirements might be nice to see, since the instructors won't tell you what they are unless you have the 15 ability but still don't qualify due to low stat.
Traps again: 2 of the Ice Golem palace traps are pictured in the wrong spots. In the southwest corner, the trap is in the same square as the lever. In the western hallways, the trap is actually 1 square to the left of where it is pictured now. While I'm at it, 2 typos: Druid skill Stupify requires "Epxert Air", and 1 of the Teleporter Crystal Pieces is found in Mizu-no-Mori, not Tsuki.
Also, I occasionally see in battle that an enemy's attack on me has "missed" (so no immediate damage), but my character is Bleeding now, or Stunned now, or whatever. Seems odd that the opponent missing is so shocking that my character got Stunned by it or has heavy Bleeding from a papercut or whatever...
