After many rage-quits I have finally completed this game. I cannot recommend Eddi_ed 's strategy highly enough, it is invaluable when it comes to completing this game. To start with it may seem a bit off, but seriously, once you can afford that final bow his strategy makes complete sense. Also, don't give up if you run out of continues. I used to think it meant that's it forever and you're properly dead, but it isn't -- you can still load a save, and you get three continues for that level repeatedly. With this in mind, be much more tactile in how you use your potions! Best of luck!

PART 2. This is the hardest part, you have almost no time to run left after jumping the horizontal ball. It chases right up your arse while navigating the last two balls. Whilst haste is of course important, be mindful of executing that last spike jump. Don't stop moving til you get to the end of the platform and are safe. TAKE A BREATHER before jumping down to the final ledge. This bit isn't hard, it's just frustrating if you're a little out & wrecks your previous hard work. It is possible to jump to the final ledge & stand to the right to get your bearings, just mind the spikes on the right wall. It is virtually the same as pulling the lever at the start, except you have to 'tap' the flag then WAIT in the space between the last two balls. I wish everyone the best of luck, it IS possible but expect an ordeal (lol) The sense of achievement afterwards is a wonderful feeling, though. I did a 'yesss' air-fist-pump hehe :P This badge should certainly be a hard badge IMHO.

PART 1.So, I was re-visiting this game after rage-quitting it nearly two years ago to have a serious go at it, and I finally got the medium badge. Level 25 takes A LOT of patience, you have to stop seeing the deaths. You have to make sure you don't even think 'I died, this is impossible' you just have to keep going for it. The manoeuvres happen fast so video walkthroughs aren't always helpful (though I would recommend watching one, to get it set in your mind) so I will try to give tips. After pulling the lever and getting to the dreaded platform with 4 moving balls, watch them for a while & get your bearings. Jump over the spikes so you're tailing the horizontal-mover, & wait for it to come back. Jump straight up so it passes under you & starts going left. This is to buy you maximum time. Start shuffling quickly til you get between the first two balls, so that when they drop down, you can jump between them without dying.

When I first started playing, I so wanted to like this game despite the adverts. It began to make to make me feel a little nostalgic for 90's platformers, such as Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider, Rayman etc. But this was executed so terribly. It's incredibly grindy which wouldn't be so bad if it was enjoyable. The character mechanics fail in almost every way, even jump isn't responsive at times, and the hazard mechanics are terrible too. If you have a straight tunnel with swinging blades with no alternative path or speed-boosters, and it works seamlessly almost always and yet now and again you suddenly get chopped by a latent pendulum, then something is wrong. This game could be amazing, but as it is I don't understand how you can have the audacity for so many in-game 'buy this, buy that' pop-ups. I can't give it more than a 1, sorry :( I do hope it meets its potential one day, though.

'I'll just play this til the sideways bars come, just to see what it's like compared to the first one' ... ok maybe not XD Can't even imagine what it would be like trying to get a badge for this instead of the normal version, thank devs for small mercies!

It's really hard to give tips for this game due to its erratic nature, but I found it much easier if you 'just' (lol) focus on the vertical strobes, but keep the left-to-right ones in your peripheral vision. I know it's easier said than done, but you only have to jump those - the main killer is vertical strobes because you could jump perfectly and get hid mid-jump by one coming down. It's also not as long as it feels, I think there were only about 5 or so jumps before it ends. Good luck! If I can do it anyone can :) Also, gk1452's tips are really good too.

Also getting the strange lag, even with quality set to low and on input B. This is a shame because I enjoyed the other fancy pants and only had this kind of lag after a while. Even then though, the lag wasn't so bad that it made it unplayable or made you shoot through a wall or under the map causing you to suddenly die. It's been a while so I doubt it will get fixed, but I hope it does :( I can't give it more than 1/5 due to this. I'm just glad I got the easy badge a while ago, but that was gruelling because I had to take tiny steps everywhere and hope I didn't shoot through a wall.

Oops, just saw Slegend 's comment. Okay, so it's not completely unplayable with that workaround, but devs/Kong still need to look into it because it requires a workaround on the players part.

No matter what is entered into the name field (be it random generated, a word with no symbols, blank, a long word or a short word) it comes up with 'Unknown ERROR :) ' and won't start the game. It was uploaded in 2007 so it's probably too much to hope for, but I hope at least Kongregate will look into this seeing as it's now an unplayable badged game.

From what I've read this game was from 2009 so you guys are probably done working on this now, but I've been a fan of Pastelgames (and MateuszSkutnik) for some time now, so thought I'd leave feedback anyway. Nice little puzzler and it's amazing how far you've come, but bugs let it down. The first time I tried to play this I had everything I needed but no combination was working, so after reading the comments I refreshed and it worked no problem the second time. The second one, I'm not sure if it's a bug or something eird with a random generator, but sometimes I would be encountering no ghost 'activity' in any of the rooms. Had I not known what I was looking for previously, there would have been no indication. Last and CERTAINLY not the least, mute button please! :) There wasn't one in the right-click menu either. 3/5 for a great earlier game, I think if you re-uploaded with fixes it could have easily been a 5/5, like your others.

It was fun while it lasted, but at higher levels the game stops being user-friendly. You have to click over a thousand times to upgrade one piece of kit (a 'use all' button would be wonderful), when you pass area 1,000 it only shows you the top 3 digits making it hard to gauge where to go, and when you defeat a knight at the 'my games' it hangs for a couple of minutes. Also, it would be nice to have an option to auto-use skill point potions, buying a stack then having to click them all again can get annoying. 4/5 and faved for concept, with a few tweaks or perhaps a polished sequel this game would be a brilliant idler.

5/5 and favourited, absolutely loved it. I don't know if it's possible for you to add but I would love to see an undo button, it got frustrating sometimes when a green droid wouldn't jump as far as I wanted them to despite holding the arrow key, and sometimes they would over-step after that. Nothing game-breaking but some of the restarts got a little annoying, when I knew how to solve it but couldn't execute the manoeuvres cleanly. Also, the 'need a hint' dialogue got very distracting,a 'don't show me this again' would be wonderful, that way the player knows where it is and can use it at their leisure. Would love to see a sequel, the puzzles were excellent, keep up the great work dev! :)

Hehe! 'Jauzzi, that's a good word, but it's not a building' *tries anyway* woo! Ok, so I suppose I ought to have a spa now *bing!* Now I have a spa with 2 jaacuzzis bubbling away outside of it. Trying to think of something naughty to put next to it, thinking the game wouldn't allow it but NOPE! You can actually have a brothel! So I have an awesome spa with a shady side-business ;D 5/5, this is great fun. So simple, perfectly executed and hilarious.

Whilst I love this game and understand it's a crawler (if you die then you're dead) there still needs to be a save feature. You can't expect players to have their computers running indefinitely, not to mention unexpected crashes. So I'd suggest giving us a save for our current run, and also a confirmation when hitting restart, it's far too easy to destroy your game with a miss-hit. There also needs to be an indication of dropped gear stats, freedom of choice is one thing but downgrading without prior knowledge just seems too much like false difficulty to me. 3/5 as it stands, could easily be a 5/5 with tweaks.

I notice this is from the same dev who brought us 'Dangerous adventure' which was also painfully laggy, even when you right-clicked to change the quality to low. With that I was willing to slog through the badges because the game itself was great and didn't require any timing, but this is just insane. I also noticed the updates box says that performance was improved, and it clearly wasn't. Please, dev -- we love your games, help us to help you! I had to close the game this time as one refresh only gives a couple of smooth runs. I will check back in the future and hope it is fixed then :( Good luck!

Hi everyone, a while back I was asking about the middle triangle on lvl 14 hardmode. It turns out it was a bug all along and I've had to restart the game. I have found a solution to this bug, and I would recommend first-time players view my solution just incase they make the hard badge un-winnable. I don't know the chances of it happening to someone, but I have updated my OP in the forum with my solution just in case anyone else is interested: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/410797-missing-triangle-on-last-legacy-null-space-level-14-hard-mode-updated-bug-and-solution

Excellent game, perfect example of controls done right. If they were bad it would be just another 'frustrating wall jumping game' but this was smooth and you get a sense of achievement getting to tough places. Great use of checkpoints, also thankyou for not making the dark-room a fumbling nightmare. Would love to see sequel to this, larger games with more story. Beautiful atmosphere, got the right balance of ambient sounds and music.

Was a bit easy but it was a great little casual time-filler. I loved the end story (which I won't spoil here) it was well written and actually made me laugh, I hope to see more games from you just more challenging. I like the idea of a harder mode, that way you can appeal to both casual and those-that-want-something-a-little-more-tricky gamers. You have an excellent foundation here! :)

Hilarious, loved my personal endgame. Basically I maxed all stats and created my own movement, then used the worst combinations I could think of that would still enable me to create a masterpiece. Then, I drank through the year til I could submit each one. All were rejected and I've never felt so proud of rejection before, having a gallery full of masterpieces with matching red 'R' stamps hehe :D I don't think my artist's (Mr Abstractio)! liver would have made it to 1914. I like to imagine the blurred street effect is him stumbling back to his studio after a bender with Van Gogh and the green fairy XD
