Very cool idea. Unique. And yet... it very quickly seems like the best thing you can do is to just keep cycling stuff around, like a giant washing machine, and hope that the right colors tumble together.
One the one hand: Nice simple space shooter with a delightfully silly style. OTOH: You see California? You see? This is what will happen if Carly Fiorina is elected! Demonsheep everywhere! Shooting lasers are UFOs!
Why does everyone move so slowly? Why does only one player try to get the ball? Why does the opposing player just stand still when he gets the ball? Why is it so easy to get the ball from him? Why doesn't the goalie even try to stop? Why does the game want me to preset the direction and power of the kick when the situation could be entirely different by the time the player catches up with the ball? I appreciate that the idea is "simple" soccer, but this is a little *too* simple. Especially if you're going to have the full teams supposedly present on the field (even if the other players don't actually seem to do much of anything).
Nice idea. Fun for a while. But as mentioned the second shapes puzzle makes no sense. There are many possible solutions, and no indication of which one is right. I tried many variations before giving up and using the walkthrough. And then... no more puzzles? It just zips you through, and as long as you found all the little hidden colored spheres along the way, that's it. Felt very sudden.
Nice graphics, unique control style. Well done. And I very much appreciate the ability to turn zombies into pinatas instead of them spouting blood and gore. It does get fairly repetitive, though. Wish it had warned me that kicking lowered stamina, or told me what the red and yellow bars did, or how any of that worked. Would also be better if you could mute sound effects as well as music.
This is cool. And it's beautiful. Kind of reminds me of Kaleidoscope, my favorite screen saver for years. The ability to share via the "user levels" interface is a very nice touch.
But it's not really a game, is it?
As has been said - decent graphics and gameplay, but nothing really original. An intro would help. Explanations of what's going on, what the various tools and objects are, etc. It's a good start, but it needs work.
Fun game. Well executed. I just wish that turning sound effects off also turned off the very loud, rather long sound of thunder every time you return to the level select or main menu screens.
Nice concept, good execution. Fun game. Would be nice if there was an "undo" button, though, especially since it can sometimes be hard to tell ships what you want them to do.
Cute. Nice twist on the old worm game. Short, though. I was just getting into it, wondering what the next change would bring, when it suddenly ended. This is a good start, but I think it needs more work.
Honestly? Yes, people who leave stupid comments on games are annoying. Like those pointless and counter-productive "needs badges" comments. But somehow I doubt that this "game" is going to actually change their minds. And, let's face it - it's not a game. It's a barely-interactive morality play. A movie about how crappy a game would be if it actually lived down to the level of the dumbest comments. After slogging through the whole thing, ironic as it may be, I'm actually going to have to give it 1/5.
Fun start. I do wish that the mute function worked better. Each level is muted, but those doors are REALLY LOUD, which means I have to pause whatever else I'm listening to.
Have to agree, though, that the control scheme needs work. Game would have been much improved if the powers were assigned to, say, WASD keys instead of changing what the X key does every level.
Guys... the games are FREE. The badges are not requirements. There are other ways to earn 20 points. I'm not hugely fond of this game, but it was... decent. And it was short. I don't know if this was a sponsored badge, but if it was... it's not a bad idea. Badges get people to come check out the game. A much more effective tool than regular ads. It gets money to the site (which cannot be cheap to run). And if you don't like the game... DON'T PLAY IT. A game that you don't like getting badges doesn't actually hurt you in any way. May actually help because it can give you some idea of whether or not you'd like the thing it's trying to advertise.
Hard to believe this is connected with Little Wheel. The music is repetitive, most of the puzzles are incredibly simplistic, the remaining puzzles are just frustrating (like the timing on the whale-jumping), and the "yay" noise at the end of each level is just annoying.
Good start, but I agree with others - It gets frustrating having top bikes with top riders constantly getting beat out by the top NPC (so you get 3 of the top 4 slots). Also not sure why you have to rebuild the bikes from scratch every time. It's interesting for a while, but gets repetitive very quickly.
Better graphics than Big Truck Adventures 2 ( http://www.kongregate.com/games/FreeOnlineGames/big-truck-adventures-2 ), but less variety and challenge.
