Has potential but is way too random atm. You can get horrible starting layouts that you know will drag your progress a lot longer than other setups would have. Pathfinding is improving, but still needs some work.
Sadly the levels were too repetitive. I expected more than artificially increasing the level count by just doing the same mini-game twice or thrice with somewhat increased difficulty.
The hard part of this badge is to honor all the times you had to wait 5 minutes until the final hostage and the final terrorist eventually decided to move separate ways. This is one of the things that brings this game down a lot in my opinion.
It's a shame that this game is held back so badly by the abysmal camera. Flying blindly might work for airline pilots, but it basically breaks this game. While the game zooms out earlier than it used to it's still way too late and not nearly enough.
I don't know how it was before the update, but leveling right now is way too slow IMO. Having to play a level several times to move from lvl 2 to lvl 3 is not my idea of fun. Decent game otherwise.
My main issue with this game is that one of the main features, the spike throwing, is buggy as hell. If you don't want the guy to be able to throw one if too close to a wall, fair enough, but then just let him not do so instead of showing the animation and making the spike disappear from the count.
Started as a decent series, but has been going down ever since the first. Congrats to the maker to having found an easy way to make a buck though, as many ppl seem to be happy with the simple nature of the follow ups.
The main issue I have with this game is that the solid/not solid system makes no sense. Because if white blocks are always solid and colored never you should still be able to go through colored ones with white ones. Because passing as something solid through something not solid works usually (or did anyone bump into air recently?).
Streets of Rage with a handful of dinosaurs in very very very easy mode. I don't think I ever dropped more than 10% of my health. Not a bad game, just way too easy.
Not much of a sequel really, more like an update to the first part. One (admitably fun) new mini game is not enough to grant a good grade from me. Also failing to improve the running training, which is really irritating, means I can't give more than 2/5 for this.
