as many have mentioned, a top and bottom to the box would be nice (you could do this by setting it up as an unfolded box, a cross shape, for indexing squares, perhaps...) the other change i'd make is adding only 1 link in the snake per box picked up, as it is, the snake quickly grows unmanageably long and the game is over very fast. an interesting twist on a classic.
nice idea, very cute art. the controls need some work (holding down for more than the briefest instant causes the guy to shoot up to max jump height), as do the game's borders (the spider can go off the screen easily.) 3/5
an indication of the height that you've changed the 'wall' that you're going to bounce off of would be handy. also, instructions that are written over the entire screen and obscure the objects of interest aren't particularly helpful.
for all the aspiring ham radio operators out there, this is a good tool to try. if only there were some way to get the message without the horrible droning noise... :-)
way too much chance, even with a strategy that will win, it takes several attempts to get the blocks to happen to fall into the right formation. tedium = fail
it should at least be possible to survive in the game. i've been killed due to shock tons of times now because the pills just aren't appearing fast enough. i'm not sure how, without tremendous luck in their rate of appearance, getting 10,000 is possible. also, the game has been around for quite a while and sucks. why is this a badge game?
if you skip a level in inferno, you can figure out which it is by checking your best scores. took me a minute to realize that when i wound up with 39 completed levels after finishing level 40
