The game is a cool idea, I really like the reset when you die. The simple graphics were perhaps a little too simple, but it worked. The ending was really the only part that I didn't like. Why one Earth did the guy just disappear? It didn't make any sense. Who else was at the grave? I was hoping for some kind of ending, but I guess that wasn't what I was looking for.
the game looks decent enough, but it's no fun to play. the computer is far too fast at doing special attacks and knows when to block just about everything. i tried it with the idea of getting the badges and being done, but i don't want to be subjected to this crummy game or its religious content for any longer. 1/5
I think that the easiest way to get all of the badges should be to begin serving trash pizzas to customers as soon as they turn gold. Uncooked, uncut, untopped. They glare and give no tip, but they don't lose their gold medal status (messing up loses all of the stars for any patron though.) This would cause the time between levels to increase, so that the first person of the day, the newest customer, was your customer longer. The earlier folks who still need leveling would be coming in still and getting leveled just as fast, you just wouldn't be adding new customers as quickly. I'm currently stuck with only 2 non-gold customers, one of whom has a bronze medal and no stars cause he just never comes. (The very last person before the chef comes every morning at the end, so he/she will level up to gold in 15 days if you don't mess up any of its pizzas...)
For some reason my ranking shows up as -1 regardless of how many games I win or lose. Also, the enemy's favorite weapon is almost always the cannon, even if they've not fired it once that I saw.
i like the look and i loved the original. i'm not sure if pixels were expensive the day you wrote this, but did this really need to be so short vertically? it makes hitting something moving fast vertically extremely difficult.
Definitely could use a way to skip the cutscenes. Also, a page that briefly describes controls and/or gameplay is usually included, rather than having to click in a separate menu. Similarly, including a game description is expected. Writing 'look in game' is just lazy. Finally, get rid of the Crazed Games logo once the game begins.
that sure is sudoku. i can't figure out why people find this game fun, and i LOVE number and logic puzzles. it's just too easy and repetitive. in any case, it would be nice if short notes would be visible without clicking the cell (tiny numbers, for instance.) then folks would gripe about the tiny numbers' sizes but at least you wouldn't have to click around to find the info.
interesting idea, i really generally like this sort of game, but this got frustrating quickly. the gears often would not mesh with existing gears for no apparent reason. the scoring system is confusing at best. actually, it makes no sense at all. if i add up the white numbers and subtract the red, i don't get anywhere near the score. sometimes the time+penalties is a tiny number for a quickly and efficiently finished number, and sometimes its 200 or more for a similar finish on a different level. also, if you're getting money for points, you ought to be able to buy something. it's like an unspoken gaming rule. :-) i'd like to see version 2.
the background definitely needs to go, and the entire game would be better if it were larger. otherwise it's very similar to a large number of other games.
a fun enough game, good concept and great voice acting. it seems rather buggy for such an otherwise well produced game though. i kept getting stuck in 'base is under attack' mode, and after a while my ability to pan around the map disappeared entirely. the game itself is very hard to lose. 3/5
i do have to wonder (but not too hard) where the authors are from. how many german cities are there in this thing? i get three or more in one level sometimes. spanish cities as well.
wow, getting to 10 is a beast. i do well until the nation boundaries disappear. i like the game though, it's fast enough to avoid cheating and the process is clear. the 'strike' is a 100% shot, it's pretty much just luck. 5/5
in addition to the other problems this game has (i.e. no fun) it also has a badge problem, at least for me. the easy badge doesn't register villages killed.
Connection with other players is wretched, constant errors and disconnects. The game itself is either a 2 second blitz or a half hour trench fight. This just isn't any fun, plain and simple. 2/5
man alive, i think i have carpal tunnel from the pistol. a fun game, it's cute. i wish the animation was better though, with as much work as you appear to have put into the menus, it seems a shame for the actual gameplay to look so amateurish. that may have been intentional though, of course.
