There's a lot of empty space where it would be nice to have some data (eg quantity owned, price). The display of 0.0/s is fairly useless... either add more digits, or allow it to change to minute/hour/day display as required to keep between 0.1 to 9.9
Autosell picks should at the very least sell picks that are strictly inferior to each other, not only to the one equipped. Although I think it could be even more aggressive, leaving only up to 3 picks (max damage, max speed, and max dps).
Nice game, but the AI is too easy and also the interface is too hard. The entire time you're repeating orders, because you can't select several units and they always forget where they're going. Also the large levels are evil, either zoom out or speed up the scrolling.
The bonus provided by bats, lepidopterae, and nightbugs is MaxBonus*(n/(1000+n)), where n is the number of that critter you bought. So for example the first thousand gets you half the max bonus, the second thousand 2/3, and the third thousand 3/4.
Some of the items are too random, like when your light engine is heavier than your heavy engine. Maybe you could display some of the item's most important stats on that empty space next to it's name?
There's too little room in the main inventory, especially considering that items can only be used from there. This is especially annoying for inactive items like the shield or umbrella. Some tools could be used automatically (sword on foes, axe on trees, hoe when planting seed on untilled ground, scythe on bushes/dead/hay, watering can on unwatered plants, hammer on rock/cliff/ore). If this could be done from within a backpack, or a special equipment backpack, it would improve the interface possibly without changing too much code?
Great game! Needs variable battle speed based on how much damage you will take, your current health, and your HP/MP regen. Because adrenaline, or lack thereof.
Bug in endless mode: game uses 32 bit signed integer. Max of any number is 2147483647, which is easily reached in endless mode if you have enough food to replenish your losses. Then it warps to negatives.
A few tips: Planets can be stone-aged more thoroughly by completely harvesting them, which also means you don't have to napalm biomass and don't risk damaging the planets. Keeping most planets non-nuclear may be advantageous. To farm tech, nurture a planet to the appropriate tech level and then send it seeders so that it starts pooping out ships.
yeah, thanks!
