I like how all the movement you need is with one hand (WASD+QE), while all the aiming is with a mouse. However, sometimes I wish I could zoom because of wanting to make a nice long shot.
Warning: Abilities are only usable once per battle, and do not increase in power. Potions are only usable outside battle, 1 HP for each character. If you purchase equipment, you are forced to equip it, and it might only fit one character. Gold on the last level is useless. All your glyphs are used when threat level reaches 100 (unless you didn't pick them up yet).
When you see the collectable on an upward sloping bridge, keep your finger over the R. If you miss the collectable, quickly press Reset -- this is your only chance to get that one.
I can't give this game 5 stars due to the massively annoying questing system (over 2 dozen clicks just to START a quest, and they get forgotten each time), and some quibbles about resource balance.
Not going in there without a light. Now that I have a light, can't see anything there except the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh well, at least I didn't get eaten by a grue.
Socrates:I found an answer to your question. Arbiter:You're wrong; as proof, someone else also found an answer. Socrates:Too bad I can't tell him to check whether our answers matched or not, since it's not in my vocabulary.
Nice game, though the barbarians are done poorly. The strategy for fighting barbarians seems to be at a high (9%?) threat level, and it seems your army strength won't help you fight them off either. I think it would be better if every turn or so had a mini-combat, with a few lives and percentage points of land at stake, both to gain or lose. Otherwise highscores are "got lucky on chance events" rather than skill.
Grues are like that. ;_;
