Bad controls, repetitive gameplay, the same button to tackle and shoot--with no warning or sound to tell you you got the ball, half the time when I hit "pass" my guy throws to the other team. Oh, and as an added bonus, I'm running towards an opponent who's near my goal, and then my goalie gets the ball and who I'm controlling suddenly switches, so that if I don't let up on the button fast enough, I run the ball into my own goal. 1/5
I really liked the first one, but now it's just annoying. I feel like more of the difficulty comes from the fact that you can't target your defenses: the only tactical issue is that you're not allowed to have tactics. It was ok in the first game when enemies showed up in type waves, but with a mix, I just get frustrated as all my missiles target fighters and the motherships just kill me.
JMTB02 always comes up with the weirdest stuff.
This is a cute game, not awesome, but well put-together, and the music alone makes it worth playing for a while, just to listen.
I don't know if it's new or not, but I love the colorblind mode. This game got impossible for me on the bigger levels because the gates were so little I couldn't distinguish yellow and green, but now I can play again!
Got to 51.... too repetitive to stand trying again any time soon.... Would have been so much better if you'd come up with more than four enemy times if we have to score 13 times that many kills....
Kain: no, it's really just double-jump. The code for detecting whether you pushed s/space once or twice is just terribly buggy and often double-counts.
Also, I realized why I find this game so frustrating: it needs analogue controls. Then it would fun! You would feel like you were actually in control, instead of tapping S and watching your guy just impale himself on the ceiling spikes.
07zijaccard: That's because the game doesn't do well recognizing keystrokes, and sometimes it'll count your first tap of 'S' twice, so that your double jump happens right after your first jump. It's a pretty bad bug.
Also, when I try to take a running jump off of platforms, sometimes their hit box is smaller than the graphic, and then my first jump is actually my double jump because I ran 1 pixel past the edge.
Didn't the exact same game get posted a couple months ago, only side view instead of isometric? Same shops and everything. It was fun then, but this is just a rehash.
@AslyHobo: The controls suck because sometimes I hit S once and it somehow counts as twice, and then the bird flies away and I lose coins, or I die because my double-jump is used up. It's pretty infuriating.
Are you serious? I have to watch an ad every round? I hate you. This is a medioocre game at best--you're delusional if you think people would pay for it.
It is incredibly frustrating to have really long levels where one small mistake makes you start over. Sorry, it's not a bad game, but I really hate it.
