Yeah, like others have said hard badge is memorisation, and also taking the path of least resistance, e.g. avoid wolf buses, take easy cave sections. I ended up doing a perfect run no hits when i finally grinded my way. A good feeling :)
Far too luck based, especially with dragon killing. No prior indication when they'll appear, and no guarantee you can even see a divine edge before you encounter one. I can upgrade weapons/armour uber efficiently, not even using 1 elixir, then encounter a dragon between day 7-14 at any point and get p4wned. Meh.
I was a little dissapointed when i realised that i wouldn't be directly controlling the furious feline laying waste to unrelenting hordes of peaceful aliens. Too easy, too recycled. Can't be bothered.
OK seriously, this is either set on mars or the suspension is waay too frikking much. I would like to occasionally not be floating forever at 40mph through the air.
If i can kill weak zombies at 5mph why not push the car to save petrol and hence, the planet? Also who the hell is funding me, or selling the gear to me? Don't THEY want to escape the zombies too?! Obviously their brains are also rotted.
Seems well made, but horribly grindy. If i can beat one enemy type comfortably, i can beat the next obligatory 10 fights worth of them. Which bores the hell out of me, since i'm just repeating the same optimum order of actions.
Just use Simon's upgraded Cleansing first thing on the last boss, before Simon dies u can whittle him down to less than 400hp if you're both accurate and a little lucky. Then the boss is suddenly laughable.
For those who can't seem to rescue their companion when downed: Save and quit then reload. You could also not complete Hank's quest (don't talk to him after finding items) unless u lose Kelly by accident. Apart from the annoying bugs like that, awesome game, look forward to sequels.
Ok, this has to be said for both installments: the challenges that require you to hunt down lots of tiny things e.g. flowers are NOT clever or FUN. Miss one and a headache occurs. For god's sake, at least RECORD the ones already found if finishing a level.
While cowering amoungst some crates, a guard turns the corner. I stand perfectly still and quickly tap Z, apparantly in the hope that my super speed will allow me to pull off a Neo. It does not.
