Oh, and to the people saying "Well it's interesting so it doesn't matter that it's not a game!", well, that's really just an incredibly stupid thing to say. This is a game site; people come here to play games. If they wanted to find something informative, then they'd go to that fancy url bar or favorites tab, or use that google thing and type in whatever they wish to learn about. Most people don't want sites to be reduced to a mishmoshed blob of random crap because some people are incapable of figuring out how to find interesting things so instead need to have them shoved into whatever they're doing to notice. There are sites for almost any need one could possibly have, so if what you really want is a retarded amalgamation of any form of entertaining thing you could think of, then chances are there are sites like that. So go there. Don't try to turn whatever site your on into a ridiculous mess because you're too lazy/stupid to figure out how to use this internet thing.

Yes, this is interesting...but that's why I bookmarked the page I originally found it on, the url that's at the bottom left. It isn't a game either, so it doesn't belong here for a # of reasons. Plus, whether or not you 'want to make money', you see that tip jar up there? The one that a person used? Well that would be you making money. Also, yes, you did steal this. The definition of stealing doesn't say you have to use something for personal gain; you simply have to take something that isn't yours, which you did. Of course in a way you clearly are getting something out of it because you did take it. Just because whatever it is isn't primarily monetary doesn't mean you aren't benefiting from someone else's work. And you didn't 'make a new game'. You didn't 'make' crap. You used something another made. Wait...you put a tip in your own jar? Are you trying to launder money or something? Maybe get cash from mommy and daddy's credit card to buy some drugs? Hm?

Gee, another useless, shitty mmo hoping to grab up money from pampered, socially inept little screwups who haven't had to work for anything in their lives and thus don't think twice before using mommy and daddy's credit card to buy worthless, non-existent garbage in a 'game' (aka: cash grab) so that they can forget that they're failures at life for a few minutes while they 'beat' (aka: outspend) other fat little social outcasts. Man, the world sure wouldn't be complete without another one of these. No wonder kongregate seems to have fallen so far from what it once was; if I was a developer I'd be borderline ashamed to be associated with this place. Kongregate only even hosts free games anymore in the hopes that they can potentially attract more little kids so more groups of lazy jackoffs show up with these pathetic jokes and pay for kongregate to try to get stupid little brats to play them and hope they dig into their parents' wallets.

I'm actually kind of down with idiotdog. I'm failing to see what's particularly fun about this game. I mean, you move back and forth on a rail. Hell, I kind of thought moving on a rail was literally an expression for when a game severely constricts your ability to think outside the box...

I think one of the problems here is that if you don't care about points there really ends up being no goal to the game. There's no way to lose.

Developer response from romamik

Not sure if it was the best choice, but this is by design. One of the goals was to let player relax while playing this game.

Oof, going the subtle route and stamping "free" right on the chick's butt. Classy! Also; nobody likes you or your mmorpg. There is just a sea of them recently, so unless you've got something pretty transcendentally amazing to offer this won't be going anywhere.

Oh, but aside from that this is actually pretty sweet. It would be nice if we could move with WSAD simply so that it would be a little more predictable, as the bouncing up and down makes it hard enough to aim as is, but really that's a pretty small issue. Also, I'm sorry, but this world is not a place where a llama can get on a trampoline and expect any form of privacy. They're already fluffy as is, and fluffy things acting like humans is an internet favorite.

It's alright but it's a little easy, and to be honest while this isn't your fault, I'm guessing the fact that these sorts of games have been done to death does inadvertently harm people's perception of it. There also seems to be a problem with consistency as others have said. One other thing though; while I realize stars don't matter, the system for rewarding them is still really, really silly. If you aren't going to provide us an easily accessible restart option, suggesting that we aren't supposed to use the one feature that allows us to tweak our level design doesn't make sense, esp. because if someone really cared they'd just re-enter the level as soon as they finished it and simply repeat exactly what they did. Again, not that big a deal though.

Oh, and I'm on the fence; I'm not sure if a female did the artwork, or if a male who simply had no shame did, because I'll be honest, it would take one secure male to be able to draw all that without feeling even a bit unclean.

Idk, literally every single time I face the second boss one of my allies simply sit right in front of where his cubes spawn and die as soon as they appear. As a matter of fact they seem to be completely oblivious to the little spawn warnings we get, as they chill right in front of where enemies spawn and end up getting hit, or support ships end up not actually providing support since they're too busy chilling in front of spawn zones. There's nothing more frustrating than losing because the AI acts dumb.

I can't tell if there's something wrong with my computer atm (it can be temperamental), or if it's the game itself (except no one else is saying anything to this effect...) but my comp is choking on this game, it gets choppy as hell on a regular basis. The problem is that if there's a quality button I sure can't find it, and if there isn't a quality button there really should be.

I'm clearly not getting something here, because I've basically been doing the exact same things (Going down, getting minerals, returning to the surface, repeating) for about half an hour now and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I'm supposed to do things like make an engineering bay, except that requires tiny silver nuggets that appear at depths 25-100. The problem would be that I'm overheating, or close enough that I can't even really use my drill, but the time I get to even 26 depth. I see no way to increase my ability to drill down deeper (which I'm guessing from the description would be one of the things that the engineering bay would help with), so I'm not 100% sure what I'm supposed to be doing here. I don't feel like I'm making any progress of any sort.

Different planets have different temperatures. Glacial planets are MUCH colder than volcanic ones, and you can go further down.

I apologize, I lied. Level 2 and up cavalry can survive a shot from a dark mage thinger, and level 2 and up barricades can. Anything else dies straight away. Now, that wouldn't necessarily be an awful thing (assuming you saved up money beforehand), except when an enemy destroys one of your 'super' gold mines (the ones built on special squares that give you 2x the normal amount of gold) the special square disappears, meaning the mine you replace it with will just be a run of the mill one. The whole thing is kind of silly and annoying.

Ok, another thing; what would possess someone to make a unit like dark mages? For anyone who hasn't reached them yet, here's what they do; they walk on to screen, and shortly thereafter, by the time my archers have fired off a single shot, they've launched a missile that instantly destroys everything in the row. Everything. And I don't mean it does a lot of damage, I mean it literally just straight up destroys everything. You have a nice defensive setup? Well too bad, once it fires that missile thinger there's no stopping it. And it's not like the enemy even has to reach your units, it shoots it almost as soon as it's on the screen. I'm seriously not understanding this game. It seems relatively well made and I haven't really noticed any glitches so far, and yet the actual gameplay seems like it didn't have so much as an entire 60 seconds of thought put into it.

The game is alright, but there are a number of things I'm noticing here and I'm not even very far in. First is the tutorial; it's annoying as hell, especially because it forced me to do things that weren't smart even when I fully understood beforehand. The next thing was the lack of a repair option. The best you can do is sell and rebuy a unit. Then there's the upgrade option; why the hell would I hit upgrade when 'upgrading' costs exactly as much as simply buying the higher level unit? Even better, I could sell the old unit, then just buy a higher leveled one. I also felt like we have way too little starting gold; I mean, 250 friggin' gold? That's enough to buy 2 level one archers and a gold mine. Are you kidding me? Normally I just buy as many gold mines as I can and hope I can hold the enemy off until I get a realistic amount of gold. And those are just issues I've noticed so far. It seems like a lot of this wasn't very well thought out...

Oh, and platypusman, while I try not to bring grammar up online, either I'm misunderstanding your statement or you're looking for the exact opposite of reluctant. Saying 'you'd think they'd be reluctant to help' would mean that they wouldn't really want to help you, and I'm pretty sure you're attempting to say they *would* be apt to help you. Again, I may be misunderstanding, but I figured I'd throw that out there anyways.

Lol, I always like the change gender option in these games. Deep down inside we all always knew a set of boobs, a bigger nose bridge and a slightly less angular chin were the only thing that sets females apart from males, we just didn't realize we did until now. I'm sure cross dressers will be happy once they hear the news, it'll sure make their lives easier.
