Psst...do you know why games stopped using passwords and started using saves a long, long time ago? I'll tell you why...because passwords suck. Nobody wants to write down and save passwords when it's way, way easier for the game to just remember what you did. Therefore, I have to ask why exactly passwords are used here?

Yeah, ppl, you do move slowly. Until you buy a better drill. Not only does that increase drilling speed, it also increases general movement speed.

Wait a minute, the people live in tents? And start moving in when there's a tavern nearby? Alright, clearly we're dealing with a bunch of alcoholic hippies here. I especially get that feeling seeing as there really aren't too many opportunities to find work in my town, so everyone's probably unemployed. Ah, if only we had the option to make a marijuana dispensiary/LSD manufacturing plant, I'll bet my profits would go through the roof. Of course I haven't unlocked all the buildings yet, so...

Strangely enough I had the same issue with the truck not moving no matter what. After going into the options menu and turning off the particle effects and lowering the quality to medium I was able to move normally though. I'm using firefox, running windows vista, and have flash player version 11.1 btw.

Everyone's worried about the targeting, and I agree, but my other issue is...what's with the fixed levels? I mean, like, even now I'm sitting here writing a comment and not even looking at the screen because I'm not doing anything. On fixed levels the player literally does nothing after starting. You may as well just simulate the rest and tell us whether we won or lost, since otherwise I could just go to the bathroom or something then come back later and it would be seriously exactly the same as if I'd sat there the whole time.

Ok, how exactly would pretending this wasn't a demo or any of the other BS mikethespud rattled off (and people obviously agreed with) help its case in the least? That would just make it a really, really short game with no replay value whatsoever and very little to offer as far as originality or uniqueness. I don't know if the latter is the case with the full version, but it certainly is here. Also, somehow this developer is special because he's broke? Does that mean if I go out to the street and try selling finger paintings that people should feel obligated to buy them no matter how badly done since I don't have much money? How about if every developer who was broke gave a sob story and started charging for even mediocre games? There's a damn tip jar right there if you're feeling charitable. I rated this game well, but don't pretend like people who are irked about the dev wanting money have no right to feel that way.

I wouldn't find it so hard if the damn controls weren't so...I don't know. I think showbizelephant's description as 'floaty' is perhaps accurate. It feels like I'm afraid to press anything because I never know when the char is going to go sailing or just move a fraction of an inch. Something as simple as running along on timed blocks then stopping on a single one is tough as hell, because you never know when you're going to overshoot the block or not.

Ok, I'm alright at geography AND am using a map for any country that I don't know the exact location of, and I STILL can't get the hard badge. I've gotten to level 9, but that's it. On top of it it seems like the developer intentionally picked cities that are way, way towards the edges of countries so that even if you know the country, unless you know every single obscure little city in the world you're still probably not going to be accurate enough for the later rounds.

Oh ho ho ho! I may be a member of the wine club, but I'm also still a member of the far superior club. The original club. The club that was here before those damn communists came and forced their censorship upon us! The true club for true champions! The club that we *actually* don't speak of! Alas, these scriball youngsters these days don't know anything about that though, now do they?

I don't know, these zombies look suspiciously like just normal corpses littering the road. I don't ask questions though. On the other hand, I'm still somewhat up in the air to which is more awesome; the squid launcher or the remote control. I'm a little bit partial to the squids just because the little guys work so damn hard, but it's tough to argue with dinosaurs that shoot laser beams from their eyes...I mean it would literally be tough to do, they probably don't speak very good english, and even if they did they'd likely incinerate you every time they looked at you to say something. But wait, crap, now I remember that my argument is invalid. Nothing makes sense anymore!!!

I actually rather liked it, and it's well done enough that it probably deserves a higher score. I only had 1 real issue with it; The levels do end too early sometimes if you're out of ammo. There should probably be an end level button regardless of whether you have more shots or not.

I agree about the treasure hunting thing, though imo the issue is a lack of chances, not poor directions. I think that more like 4, or actually 5, would be appropriate, even if that meant other non-gold chests were less common. 3 just isn't enough considering the nature of the minigame. The main issue I'm commenting on here though is repairs/ammo refills. They're seriously just a straight pain in the ass mostly. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that for the most part they're pretty cheap, but honestly it would be far, far better if they just auto-refilled upon the day ending. I'd say either put in a toggle-able option to auto refill and leave in the cost, or just straight up remove the cost and have everything just refill no matter what. The thing is that the relatively low cost isn't ever the issue for me. Remembering to go back in and replenish everything is. It's way too easy to get distracted and forget before heading out again.

"it was the best day of my life...but then she got diseased"...for what bro, another day? You're a friggin' mite. You only live for, like, 3 of em. Also, fun fact (since I'm assuming we're talking about dust mites): there's no such thing as adult male dust mites. Inside the mother there are all female dust mites, and a single male. The male fertilizes all the females before birth. The mother dies during the birthing process along with the single male, and the female dust mites are born pregnant, ready to do it all over again, so if we are talking about dust mites the process is a little more screwed up than this in. I'd almost prefer the depressing ending to what a male dust mite's life would be in reality.

Man, I'm so used to playing the perfect balance games that I keep trying to press A and D to rotate the blocks. Perhaps it is just because I'm used to those games, but the way it is here feels really...unwieldy...for some reason. Having to click to place then click again just to rotate I mean. it's sort of a slow process IMO. I rather like the game itself though.

Thank you scriball, you saved my life! Upon playing the 'your colon' and 'yo momma's colon' levels, I quickly scheduled a colonoscopy for both myself and my mother (my hospital offers a family discount), frightened at the implications they put forth. Thank god, because when the results came back we were both diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder in which the lining of one's colon forms into small, sometimes disappearing explosives, and one's fecal matter is severely reduced in size to about the diameter of a small ball and colored yellow. The news shocked us, to say the least. We're undergoing intensive treatment and therapy on a regular basis to fix the issue. I owe you my life, scriball! I'd be careful with your recommendations though. The last time I tried breaking into my own house, eating something I wasn't really sure about, or being curious, I ended up in the hospital...and I won't even go into the time I tried pooping outdoors. That time I ended up in the police station...

Well Jsilvis, have you considered that maybe your cpu opponent is just running along through mazes of placed blocks, thinking in his little computer head "geeze, this is just really cheap. Why does the human racer get a sentient being that's capable of instantly creating obstacles that end up making me take almost half a minute to finish? The human has such a huge advantage, it's just cheap."

Wow, this game is frustrating as hell, especially when you factor in shooting, or what is allegedly supposed to be used as a 'tool'. I'll tell you what, if that's considered a tool, I'd take that thing back to whoever gave it to me and get my god damn money back. If tools were that bad in real life I think humanity would have long ago just said "screw this" and let themselves go extinct. Seriously, it takes 4 hits to make a block break off, and what a coincidence, blocks breaking off just so happens to be a NEGATIVE thing. Blocks breaking off is supposed to be one of the main parts of the challenge. Oh boy, this way we can use an unwieldy, crappy little pea shooter to even further speed up our demise. What a poorly thought out game. That's sad because the premise and parts of the game are actually fun, but parts are just absurd and cause me to go berserk.
