Oh yes, and while playing this game, I can't help but exclaim "OMNOMNOMNOM!" every few minutes when I consume someone with an especially excessive amount of vigor.
Only real complaint I have here (well, other than that damn hammer and ball level. I swear to god I got 100 seconds on my time just in that level) is that when you have a button that starts the level, most I'd think would assume that the time is stopped until you hit that button, ya know, so you can read the instructions. I don't know why the hell then You'd give us instructions, then encourage people to read them as quickly and haphazardly as possible so that they can understand them as little as possible by making the time continue to count up as they're reading. That's really counter intuitive and kind of annoying. Also, with the card with holes that covers the big number plaque thing...you might want to clarify that you read top to bottom, not left to right as one would normally read things in every other situation other than this.
eh, it was awfully easy. There was only maybe 1 or 2 levels in which I didn't get par or under on the very first try, which was never the case with the older ones.
Yes! another mushroom madness! Thank god, this is one of the few places where I can get my fix of beating animals with various blunt objects without having the ASPCA show up at my door...
Yeah, when I went to the portal/site under xelu or w/e in the credits, it said that it's a reported attack site and has been blocked. It scared me. I don't like sites that attack. There's already enough in the world to worry about attacking me without also worrying about the very internet doing so as well.
I really want to play this game, but it's tough to do that when you have to restart every few minutes due to spells and crap getting frozen in the middle of your screen, and the game constantly thinking that there are spells and stuff in slots where there aren't. It's a real shame. I hope it all gets worked out really.
Wowza man, what's up with all the bugs in here? I really was liking the game until I started running into all sorts of stuff, like spells not actually switching into/out of sockets right, getting randomly stuck on the screen, all sorts of stuff that I'd think would have been fairly obvious fairly early. The game is good, it's just really hard to play when you're running into bugs all the time.
Yeah...assassination makes no sense, cause in no time it becomes literally impossible to kill the targets without shooting through layer after layer after layer of other bots that are in front of them, and then you end up with, like me, scores like -12245. But it's cool, the main mode is good.
um...I only actually see one other person who commented on this, and while the game is still well made, honestly I liked it a lot more up until the point at which I realized moves that destroy more blocks are technically disadvantageous. I read the link that you posted above on one of the comments, and I really can't see how the idea of making people fight the urge to blow things up is meant to enhance something that's supposed to be fun. People get the urge to do things in games because said action is enjoyable, and intentionally making them not do something that's enjoyable is crazy in my mind. Also in that link you said the idea is to make the player "practice self control"...I'm not going to lie, I don't see how "self control" and having a good time could really ever go together, cause if self control was enjoyable ppl would instead be hanging out in a library or a courtroom or w/e with a large group of friends doing nothing and having a blast practicing self-control.
I think you're misunderstanding me/the mechanics a little bit here. I'm talking about the sort of control needed to not make rash moves in chess for instance. Destroying blocks isn't disadvantageous either, not entirely at least. The containment game mode rewards patience and tactics. If you adapt, read the situation and the surroundings and act accordingly you'll be fine. I completely understand if the game mode isn't for you though. Some days I hate it myself, haha. That's why I'm going to include more modes for all kinds of play. I'm on the virge of releasing a more chill mode right now actually where all you need to think about is blowing up pieces. No time-limit or anything, just clear out the whole orb. The mode will have a high score list and a list with "completion time", so there will be some challenge even if the mode is completely without punishment. Thank you for your comment, it's always nice with feedback! =D
Idk, I'm guessing that there's no way to actually win at the end, but if someone actually has I'd sure like to know since it's kind of driving me crazy.
Ok, that math wasn't just a one time thing. Last level it told me that 100000 - 18000 + 5000 was 83000. I'm not sure how we get from what it's supposed to be, 87000 to 83000, but then on this level, we have 100000 - 14000 = freaking 65000? What in the name of god? Where the hell are these arbitrary numbers coming from? There's no noticeable pattern in the number being produced here, and I have no idea where they're coming from, but I figure if you're going to give us scores and such then maybe making the math work at least a little might be a good idea.
Oh, and wtf? Let's see here, +100000 for the level, -16000 body parts lost, -9000 ropes used =...51000? What? Now I'm not a math genius, but unless I'm missing something here I don't think 100000 - 25000 = 51000. Oh, and just gonna mention that I'm not actually quite bad enough to get a score like that, I was screwing around, but still, what's with the arithmetic?
Every single level I try my damndest to find a gap in the roof near the beginning, then I just start swinging around in circles through it over and over again. Then after swinging in circles for long enough and gain enough speed I let go above the roof of the level and fly all the way to the finish with the momentum. It's pretty sweet, even when I don't get enough speed and end up smacking into the top of the roof above the level...
I bet one of the first things that chick probably thought was "I wonder what it would be like being with a man who's also a cactus...", and I can say that chances are it would probably be really painful, but from the looks of it she would most likely be into that...she's probably kinky like that. Plus she's a woman who's also a bird, so who's she to judge a man who's also a cactus? But aside from that twisted little flight of fancy, I must say that I rather love these games. I haven't gotten all the way through though, so guaranteed there will be more to comment on, but that's it for now.
