Nazi references made in fun are always classy! I think it is time those damn Jews get over the fact that millions of them were murdered! After all, a game designer needed to make a lame joke!
It is needlessly difficult to see which direction you are pointing. It makes me think that the designed never actually played his own game. I can't imagine anyone who played it would be happy enough to release it as is.
Many of these levels have absolutely no logic to them. So it become a game of "Guess what the game designer wants you to do" Basically randomly guessing. Like the designer holding his hands behind his back and saying "Pick a number between 1 and 10" Not a lot of fun in guessing what someone else is thinking over and over again.
The sub jumps when it reaches your cursor. During the regular dives, this never is a problem since the board is always moving. But for the boss levels, this is a huge problem, especially when you have to be very precise to avoid their shot spread. This could be fixed easily by simply having the sub stop when it reaches your cursor.
Maybe I just suck, but on the secnd world, second wave, I shoot at nothing but the cannon enemy, using my active spells as often as I can, and I still can't kill it before it kills me. There is literally nothing I could do to deal more damage to it than I am doing. And even if nothing else was on the screen, it would kill me
Everything Gameark does to the games that come from them is annoying. Maybe if we neer play them, they will go out of business like hey should. It ain't like they are turning a profit to begin with.
This game suffers from the same downsides as the first one...showing that the designed didn't care enough to listen to players concerns over the first one. It is TOO S....L.....O.....W! It is simply not exciting enough to hold your interest for as long as the game expects you do.
This game did a terrible disservice to itself by making the second challenge so ridiculously hard. IT is simply not fair to get 8 or 9 hits and hen the pitcher throws a ball so high that there is no way it is in the strike zone. Or a fielder who was off screen catches the ball. If I can't see where the fielders are, it is unfair for them to catch a ball. IT becomes a guessing games and guessing games do not make fun video games. Also...don't make me search for the teeny tiny clircle to try again. Let me just try again with one click.
IT is a shame too since the game is fun and I remember finishing it way back when. But so many people will get frustrated by the second challenge and never play again.
Fe1nt...but the game doesn't claim to have as many flaws, or as dumb logic as this game does. There are simply too many games that are similar to this, but far better executed.
I want to watch the action. But the zoom is so far in that I can only see the projectiles coming when they are an inch away. I bet the game designer is a golf or baseball cameraman who thinks it is great TV to follow the ball with the camera so all you can see is the ball. OF course, it doesn't let the viewer know ANYTHING about the bal. A shot of a baseball travelling 500 feet looks exactly like the shot of a 100 foot pop up. And a shot of a 320 yard drive down the center of a fairway looks just like the show of a golf ball being sliced out of bounds.
Doesn't let me mute music while keeping sound. Also doesn't let me Replay a level with the R key.
Two very simple...and should be obvious...oversights always makes me hesitant to even bother trying the game out.
This game annoyed me to the point of stopping early, then I gave it another chance and realized I was right the first time. There are just too many bafflingly dumb game concepts to overcome. First, the random spares. Not only is random a bad idea, but it seems to never go to the truck hat needs it. Like 4 in a row going to the one that needs no spares. And then...what is the point of getting multiple UAVs when you can't launch the next one until the last one is dead. In fact, your counter won't even start until the current one is destroyed. No real need to get more than 2 since chances are, your truck will be destroyed before your second UAV will be. Once I realized all that, I stopped again and am not going back.
I wanted to live this game, but there are just too many things that make no sense. All three trucks having to fire at the same target seems silly. The "Spares Dispenser" is a lame special weapon for such an expensive truck. Rarely do you want to use two other special weapons so close together, and it is only good if your other car has another usage left for its special weapon...plus the randomness means it might be wasted giving the ability to a vehicle that doesn't need it. As others have mentioned, the railgun is useless. You wait forever for it to reload...even fully upgraded, and if you happen to be moving your crosshairs to a target and it fires when it is in between targets, you have just wasted it.
Please...for the love of god...to ALL game designers...if you insist on putting annoying music in your games, then allow us to turn the music off without muting the sound altogether.
There is no logic or hints to the secret areas. We just have to guess where the designer felt like putting them. That makes finding them just become a game of hugging the sides until you can move through it. Not exactly fun.
The more I think of it, the more it angers me that the developer OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about making a fgame players would like. There was almost UNIVERSAL hatred for the slow motion in the previous gam. But at least that gave you extra money to spend. So what does he do? HE makes it worse. Far more frequent, and totally useless. And he actually expects people to eventually PAY for this? Sorry...if you want to earn a living entertaining people, you have to listen to your customers. Or at least play your own games yourself. There is no way the designer played through this game. If he had, even he would have realized how annoying the slow down is.
I am amaze to see multiple complaints about having to start over from the start. Welcome to REAL video games. Not the wimpified games of the late 90s-today. A game that you had to actually WIN, not just play until you won be default. Man...if this game was too frustrating for you,. be glad you were not alive during the Nintendo-Hard days.
Fun enough time waster. Tends to lag when you get a few enemies on the screen. And since there is no reason to ever stop shooting, it would be nice if you had auto-fire. I also had a few times where the game froze on me in a tunnel. But otherwise, I wasn't upset that I played it all the way through. Could probably use a little bit more difficulty.
I just wish they would have listened to comments all over about how really annoying all the constant slow motion stuff was on the first game. We get the idea. It is sort of cool once or twice. After that, it is just annoying, and wastes fuel.
Which spells are you using? A good combo for the cannons in early-game is Frigid Blast to keep it away and then Fireball/Plague Bane!
