Losing my chips again and again simply to learn and experiment in the game environment is not a rewarding experience. I think a reasonable gameplay model is that loss should never result in a loss of assets; at worst it should represent no net gain (and wasted time). Winning should produce an award. "Ante" systems are too loaded with dread, for my tastes. Why should I spend any time trying to collect and explore combos if my deck and sideboard may be obliterated by back luck?

Of course you are right, no one likes to lose their accumulated chips, BUT the combination of the power of the chips along with the risk of losing it, opens up an endless number of interesting gaming moments that you will not find in any other games. We hope that players can get used to the rules of our game. For example, to collect a deck so that there were not only strong chips, but also less valuable chips, which you can risk in uncertain moments of the game.

Interesting premise! I like a LOT of things about this. It feels like a location-based TCG battle... ala Elements. I think this is a strong start and the areas where improvements could be most useful are in the UI and the way that the game conflict-resolution mechanisms are represented to the player. There's a lot of stuff to compare between what I know about my hand and what I know about my opponent's. A new player needs help understanding their decision; a seasoned player appreciates brevity in their interfaces. That's where I'd start with this VERY PROMISING game.

Love 90% of this. Everything fundamental is in place. The campaign arc is short and the maps lack diversity, but the basis is in place for a fun and rewarding experience.

I found myself struggling with a constraint around warehouse space. This wasn't an easy obstacle to diagnose and balance correctly. As a player, I experienced some frustration with my inability to see how to balance my village's economy.

New Players: It isn't very clear that you need to find your bank, highlight the Axe that's waiting for you there, and "withdraw" it from the bank. (Why was your axe in the bank? I don't know... but it would have been nice if it were pre-equipped... but whatever.) Once you have the axe, NOW you can go out and start chopping some trees.

There's so much about this game that I love. The visual style, the language, and the interactions are all top-notch... very smart, solid graphic design. The game suffers, I believe, with a lack of visibility and reporting. While little icons are great, they're not intuitive enough to offer quick, breezy understanding. I found myself frequently having to relearn requirements and struggled to find any kind of production balance. I didn't even know how to diagnose the imbalance... the game made me feel a bit stupid.

I would rather not need the "essential versus weapon" for upcoming levels and, instead, would prefer more enemies, perhaps more levels (or platform trickery) and that sort of thing. The upgrade component doesn't really seem very essential or practical as implemented.

We are working on fixing that issue as well as new content. The floors are procedurally generated, but usually, you can win the game before level 15 if you check all the rooms. There is a 1% chance for the pot to appear per room.

Terrific and lots of ways that this could expand, if the developer is interested in that. Once I was comfortable confronting the skeletons and effectively blocking, the map was super fun to explore. I'd love to see more areas to explore.

Playing, enjoying myself, exploring the areas and the controls, and destroying stuff. Third or fourth mid-mission then, suddenly, black screen.... and a few seconds later, "play" as if new content. Not expected. I decided not to continue, but I thought the sandbox feel of the game was terrific.
