The quote about dice at the beginning is really spot on. I think this does qualify as a game, since I have interaction with the world, but it's an extremely limited game, since I my only interaction is choosing to respawn the mice in a random location.
I wish the N key would go to next level (And R for retry, S for submit) - it just bugs me when the keyboard is used for everything except changing levels.
It appears that beating the game results in the menu buttons not working.
On a different note, is this telling the story of a transgender person? At first I thought it was bf/gf, but there's only 1 person wearing almost the same outfit.
Game appears to be unfinished. In the first level I found 2 piranha plants that didn't die to fireballs, and a red jumpspring with no collision detection. Also, there are sprites from Super Mario World in what appears to be a Mario 3 game. And the levels and physics are significantly different from Mario. You can claim this is your own level pack, but I don't like level design that includes 3 -block jumps over a death pit in the first level. Please read up on Mario level design, because Nintendo did a lot of good things that you didn't do in these levels. The reason Mario got famous wasn't for its graphics, but largely for its level design. It'd be fun to play Mario again, but this isn't it.
The hero said "what's this mirror?" While looking at a wall. 1 minute later, there's still no mirror in sight, and there's nothing I can click on to advance.
