This game is fun, but after you beat it and see just how much money you'd have to earn to get all the upgrades and have fun mowing down the enemy waves.. you get demotivated to continue pretty quickly, especially since there isn't anything to compel you onward. You won't reach new plateaus, face new enemies, or have any objective. It sort of sucks that beating the game doesn't lead to any conclusion either; he's still trenched up in the hole after all that work... yay.
Here's a good way to save money. When upgrading a ship, you'll have to spend the war points to unlock the perk, then buy it with gold. Instead of unlocking them one at a time and buying as you have the gold, use your war points to unlock them all, BUT only buy the most expensive form of the perk and you'll retroactively get the weaker version along with it without having to individually pay for it!
If I was such a hero before I got wrecked by the ghost ship why did I have to start off at the bottom tier like a scrub? Did nobody think I would be a worthwhile investment to fight off the pirates?
Badge glitch; you don't actually have to beat all 40 levels, you just need to beat the 40th level. I was skipping ahead because I got stuck and was going to look earlier levels up, but I didn't need to after all.
I don't really like how the game starts off as a TD game where you can beat it with your own strategy and preferences to the point where there is only one or two ways to beat it or else you will lose cubes.
What a load of horse sh*t. I try PVP and end up fighting against people who are 10 levels ahead of me. What sort of nonsense is it that I would be paired against someone well beyond my capacity to fight? Way to make a greedy money-grab excuse for a game even more bull sh*t.
The last level is really easy; at that point you should have all the upgrades and most/all of the armory. Anyways, pause it immediately, then just build a 750 energy producer, a 1500 starport and produce 750 super carriers with it. Unpause and quickly build up a single layer wall, 6-8 blocks wide to protect your structures. Next get the 350 physics lab built and build more starships/energy producers as the energy allows.
Thank you very much for informing, I really appreciate it! We will try to fix it if it possible
