I have some questions for whomever decided to put the tag "minimalist" on a game that took so freakin' long to load. But other than that, I did enjoy it for what it was. Call it a 4.8/5 rounded up.

Sad but true, the method of spamming the button on timed mode really does work.

Word of advice: Don't introduce new game mechanics on Lv. 27 in a 29-level game. It's a form of artificial difficulty in my book. But beyond that, this was actually a fairly decent puzzle game.

I suspect this game will get a lot of 5s for one simple reason: It's such an easy badge and everyone will want this in the "Best of 2016" quest. But while it certainly starts off with a lot of promise, it deteriorates fast. The various pop culture references were cute at first, and may have been tolerable as just very obvious wrong options for people to go back and try once they've tried and grown bored with everything else, but when the game actually starts to RELY on them to advance the plot, any possible tactical considerations go out the window and it just becomes a click-at-random guessing game. Likewise, with the option to go back at any given moment and see all the various ways we could have failed (and even in-game incentives to go back and do so), it devolves to the point of not really being a game at all and instead becomes just a semi-interactive flash movie.

"Hey, I've got a great idea! Let's make a game with a heavy reliance on launching yourself from space to space, which you do by double-clicking! But let's also make the spaces move and the clicking unreliable so you're always at risk of either falling because your one click didn't register or launching off into oblivion because you tried to click twice and it read both of them! Brilliant! Bloody brilliant! Maybe THIS will finally be the game Kongregate doesn't put any badges on!"

OH YAY! Another "puzzle" game with a heavy reliance on physics and timing. Dammit ArmorGames, stop making puzzle games. You suck at it.

If there even is a plot to these games, I would wager it more or less follows like this: In the original seasons game, playing as the Shadow Man, you did succeed in going back in time and changing your past, but this altered the lives of others, chief among them being the victim, whose soul went to the beyond and is still lifeless despite having never been killed, and Detective Chase, who investigated the now nonexistent murder. The various "Mr." characters, as well as the recurring animals like the cat and the parrot, I would wager, are spirits of Rusty Lake and/or Eldritch beings pulled over from the other side by the time shift, and who are, if nothing else, trying to reorganize the lives of those most affected by it into such a pattern as to allow them to amend time back to a continuum. And if that's not what's going on and the creators are just slapping it together as they go, that would be my suggestion to them for a plot in the games that follow.

Hurray, another game by some Arthouse loser who thinks being dragged through the nose by a narrator lying its ass off to you as artistic and original. Next time, call it "There is no point."

Dumbest idea for a video game ever. No, the problem isn't that there is no jump button. It's that the player avatar's jumping is spastic and unpredictable. The hardest part of a game should not be getting the controls to behave, ESPECIALLY when the whole gimmick of the game is a lack of controls.

Way, WAAAAY too much of this game is luck-based. EVERYTHING is tied to scavenging missions, and there doesn't appear to be any way to possibly boost their chances of going undetected. None of the camp upgrades affect this nor circumvent it; the radio tower increases your chances of you finding them, not them finding you. So EVERYTHING is dependent on scavenging, meaning all you've succeeded in creating is a generic shooter with some unseen dice mechanic that will randomly screw you over completely without warning. This is literally how I lost the game EVERY SINGLE TIME -- when a scavenging mission from the random dice role got damn near everyone killed with no gain, crippling completely my chances of recruiting any new survivors (at least not without getting just as many killed in the process) or the better weapons needed. I genuinely fail to believe any of you did any beta testing on this game whatsoever.

Multiple endings would have been nice, given the fridge brilliance behind the chambers. See, the scientist actually had a brilliant setup for these experiments. By destroying him a couple of times, he was able to see how Qoosh felt about teleporting compared to being destroyed. Ergo, if Qoosh commits suicide so he can go back to a checkpoint instead of warping back, that means the process is highly unpleasant and not suitable for the field. If Qoosh will teleport instead of suicide, but doesn't go for the candy, it means it's not perfect, but is at least good enough for advanced studies (unless Qoosh doesn't go for the candy where he just has to jog, in which case it means Qoosh doesn't like the candy). And if Qoosh teleports just to get a piece of candy in every chamber, it's ready for human use. But no, no, we're just going to rip off GLaDOS and have the scientist be an immoral quack who wants more data because "it sparkles." Sure, that works too.

Make no mistake: This is game is a microtransaction scam, and a shallowly concealed one at that. However, I am going to look the other way on this one because it has a feature that every other level-grinding slogfest of a game should have: AFK mode. I cannot tell you how many of these games I have played before that I wish had a simple bot I could just turn on to deal with all of the level-grinding crap so I could spend my time elsewhere. For that, I can tolerate all the B.S. that this game throws at you trying to get you to spend your R.L. money on it.

You completely lost me at Lv. 13. AKA: the first timed level. No, screw that. If you don't think the puzzles are challenging enough that you need to jerk us around but are too damn lazy to tweak them and instead resort to having us play "beat the clock," you should consider a different profession than game design.

Hey, do you ever plan to make a Cube Escape game where the solutions to all of the puzzles play out like they were created by a sane person? Yeah, I get that these are supposed to be artsy-fartsy symbolic of psychology, but all they end up playing as are "click this completely random crap and see if any completely random crap occurs because of it."
