Depth-first search in a graph is a game, now? Jeez. OK, nice pictures but the gameplay is non-existent. I came to Kong to play games, not to read cartoons about ducks.
Trading is a waste of time as it makes almost no money. As a result, upgrading cargo capacity, and the whole cargo ship upgrade tree are a waste of time.
Can't say I enjoyed this. The sound effects are really annoying and the gameplay is arbitrary. E.g., the solution to level 15 is to realise that bricks can float in the air, but stone and glass can't, so destroying the bricks with a fireball will make the other things fall -- wtf? Eggs can fall from a moderate height without breaking but they explode when jostled by wasps -- wtf? On the other hand, wasps can only kill their designated "next egg" so, if another egg blocks them from their target (possible in level 25 where the eggs are stacked), they keep bumping into that other egg and it never dies -- wtf? Time-based scoring is pointless and annoying when so much of the game is waiting around for wind and epidemics to do their thing. On the other hand, thanks for allowing us to skip a few levels. I didn't need it but it's a feature every puzzle game should have.
The difficulty curve here is terrible. Most of the levels are absurdly easy with just one or two cuts (oh, look, the target is supposed to be seven) but then there's the occasional level like 21, where I've no idea how to get more than one star, and 35, which I just can't do at all. It's like a fight game where most of your enemies are bunny rabbits but you occasionally meet a professional boxer or the Terminator.
There's not much to these games: the puzzles are pretty simple and finding the stars is just a matter of looking. But they're well written and fun to play and that's plenty enough to make me happy when a new one comes out.
Not enjoying this at all. The pacing is way too slow, the difficulty curve way too steep (I just got my ass kicked twice on the second level and I'm hardly a TD noob), and the targeting is awful (no option for targeting the *strongest* opponent? srsly?). Looking unlikely that I'll grind level 1 for the challenge...
Wizard's walk in the park, more like. Finished at the first attempt, with only two deaths. Just upgrade all the fire spells and everything's just too easy.
Some kind of information about where the remaining cups are would be helpful. I *think* I have all the cups for all the races I've unlocked (7 gold, 10 silver, 10 bronze up to and including Kenya) but how would I know if I've missed some? I've already driven all of those courses once at 40mph picking up cups. It would be really tedious to have to do that all over again. Apart from that, though, I'm loving the game -- your car racing games are all very similar but that means I enjoy them all. :-)
Full upgrade on ammo and bullet strength. I emptied all 20 rounds into the boss while he was vulnerable. I didn't miss. Boss didn't die. So, er, what am I supposed to do now?
Possibly the most boring game ever. The training games are tedious and most of any battle is just sitting around waiting for your power to recharge. zzzzzz
Sorry, but I can't get over how awful this game is. You wander backwards and forwards holding down X until all your enemies die. Great. Then you upgrade a bit and do it again. And again. And again. And again. And a-freaking-gain. Until you've done it 22 times and got all the badges. Yaaaawn.
Dear IndianFan, it's pretty lame to throw an all-caps hissy fit saying demanding that the game be changed before you play again. It's super-lame to do that and then start playing again anyway. The "today" section of the high score table doesn't lie...
